Always enjoyed his work from Zulu to Get Carter to his role in the Batman flicks.

I like his "Harry Palmer" spy movies. Wish I could
find them somewhere.

Zulu, what a film too start a career with. From my understanding ZULU, is the English version of Diehard, required watching at Christmas.

Yep. I loved him in Miss Congeniality. “One mistake, and I’m a bloody bell hop”.

He's 88?? Holy crap I seriously thought he was in his mid-60s or something.
Jack Nicholson, Gene Hackman, Al Pacino, Robert Redford...they're all up there in the 80s too.

Already???

He was great in The Dark Knight as well as as Austin Powers’ dad. “If we're gonna speak in front of these American girls we should speak *English* English!”.

Jack Nicholson, Gene Hackman, Al Pacino, Robert Redford...they're all up there in the 80s too.Nicholson and Hackman have both retired as well, having made their last films in 2010 and 2004 respectively.

I loved him as ‘Uncle Garth’ in ‘Secondhand Lions’. He does a damn fine Texas accent for a Brit.
