There are diseases with such high mortality rates that vaccines, even if risky, make sense. COVID is not among that list of diseases.
The saying that desperate times call for desperate measures was never more true than when applied to vaccination. Consider the first vaccine in 1796, when a young boy was inoculated against smallpox. It had been noticed that milkmaids almost never contracted smallpox. Milkmaids frequently caught cowpox, a mild illness related to smallpox. British physician Edward Jenner theorized that infecting someone with cowpox would confer immunity to smallpox.
The procedure was simple enough. A cut was made in the arm, and fluid from cowpox blisters was smeared in the cut. The person would contract cowpox and then be immune to smallpox. Jenner’s theory was correct, and he is now considered the father of vaccinology.
The procedure was simple, but to a modern eye, it also seems disgusting. Smearing liquid from cow blisters onto open wounds is not something most of us would care to do. Or would we? Smallpox was a very contagious disease that killed many of the people who contracted it. The survivors were immune to another attack, but they were also usually disfigured for life. Many people were very willing to take a desperate measure to prevent such a fate.
Louis Pasteur was not even a doctor when he developed a vaccine for rabies. In our modern world, rabies is a plot point in movies like Old Yeller. In Pasteur’s time, rabid animals were so terrifying that any pet dog was suspect and might be killed out of hand. Rabies is almost 100 percent fatal. It causes hallucinations and painful spasms, and a person infected with the disease could become violently aggressive.

Typical one-dimensional thinking. Comparing death rates leaves out all the impacts of surviving COVID. Everyone gets so upset about myocarditis associated with the vaccines while ignoring this:

Whether or not the bioweapon was perfected before it escaped a lab....it turned out to be a perfect bioweapon.
I am having to research autoimmune diseases. Science is clueless...they wont understand covid and long term effects for decades..
Btw...while i wait to see a rheumatologist... I started using cinchona bark as alternative to deal with whatever is going on as my body is trying to kill me. It is helping.
So...since covid mimicks some autoimmune diseases..people with long haul covid symptoms might want to try it...

I suspect the number of individuals advocating for a complete lack of any vaccination is minute if not non-existent. This whole “anti-vax” concept is silly. Additionally, the concept of calling the mRNA cocktails a vaccine is silly. As time has shown, these barely qualify as therapeutics while vaccines provide long term immunity from the disease targeted.
I feel you could select dozens if not hundreds of examples of vaccination campaigns that saved the day in the past. Targeting Washington’s use of vaccination to ensure the health of his soldiers is admirable but strikes me more as an exercise in rhetoric or appealing to pathos than providing anything substantive to the argument.
COVID is not serious enough to warrant vaccine mandates. The article title alone encapsulates the idea. I doubt you’d fine anyone who would seriously attempt to argue that Washington’s use of vaccination against smallpox is an example of vaccine efficacy, something that is sorely missing from the current state of affairs.
I am not for or against this vax. People have to choose what is right for them...but once you sign up for the military they have the right to vax you
History has many examples of problematic vaccines. I got the wrong measles shot back when they where clueless about it.

I have never seen a study by the CDC explaining the risk benefit ratio of the “vaccine” in various age groups and comorbidity. They have the data but do not publish a study. WHY?

If it was so serious then Fauci and his minions would be sent to GITMO to be interrogated to find out why the development of this virus was funded, if it was released intentionally and what the purpose was.

It is partly about money for sure—Big Pharma is bribing every “opinion leader” that moves.

The Covid numbers are probably way overstated because almost everyone who “dies from Covid” had other severe health issues.
Folks who died from these other diseases were cut and dry—no stupid data games were possible.

Well you got that part right for sure. So if it doesn't prevent Covid, what does it do? Why has the whole world bought into it? Do you really think the government lacks the resources or knowledge that a few keyboard warriors have managed to figure out? Notice the Covid infection rate is highest among the fully vaccinated. I am sure money is a motive but it is only a side benefit they surely have other motives. For one they have divided the population against itself quite effectively.
I fear we haven't even begun to see the real motive but we soon will I am sure.
It was done that way for me, in fact you could prove you had been vaccinate by simply showing your scar.
