BY HIS SIDE - Bill Clinton left vomiting after being struck down with ‘sepsis caused by E.Coli’ – as Hillary seen leaving hospital

BILL Clinton was left vomiting from “sepsis triggered by E.Coli" as Hillary was spotted leaving the hospital, where her ailing husband battled the infection in intensive care.

The former president, 75, was admitted to the University of California Irvine Medical Center for an "infection" on Tuesday, a spokesman for the former president said Thursday.

His doctors reportedly told CBS contributor David Angus: "At the first event he started to feel lightheaded, nausea, vomiting, and was brought to a hospital

"At that hospital, he was found to have an infection in his blood, and they did a CAT scan, looked over his body and even his brain. And the infection source was found to be the urine.

"The bacteria that grew out was called E.Coli, and he was put on what we call broad spectrum antibiotics."

Hillary was pictured entering the Orange County hospital on Thursday night.

The 73-year-old was wearing a white face mask and was flanked by her security team.

Clinton, who was alongside her aide Huma Abedin, left the hospital just after midnight.

She appeared to be in “good spirits” as she spoke with others as she left, Fox News reports.

The former First Lady attended a foundation event before visiting her husband at the medical center.

Actress Patty Duke died of Sepsis a year ago I believe. Her death was reported as being extremely painful.

Yeah, she'd be my first suspect, too. If you want a job done right....

Its actually fairly rare for a male to get a UTI from e. Coli found in stool. There are only one pathway for entry which would be awkward to explain in polite company.

UTI infections from yeast are more common which can occur when external sugar or honey enters the pathway and acts as a nutrient for the yeast culture. Actually, that’s kind of awkward to explain as well. I guess I’ll just sign off now before people start giggling.

I'll bet. She has a new package of pins for that little voodoo doll in her purse.

Who is at risk for sepsis?
(From Sepsis.com)

Although some people have a higher risk of infection, anyone can get sepsis. People who are at risk include:

young children and seniors
people with weaker immune systems, such as those with HIV or those in chemotherapy treatment for cancer
people being treated in an intensive care unit (ICU)
people exposed to invasive devices, such as intravenous catheters or breathing tubes

At least 250,000 people die from Sepsis in the US every year.

We do owe a debt of gratitude to Bill Clinton. It was him that was part of the reason Freerepublic got started. You have to be an old timer like me to know that.

She had some kind of internal rupture..could have been diverticulitis. Worst pain i have ever had and was worried something ruptured...and then sepsis takes you out

Private Aviation is really the only way to fly.

A bit expensive, but the Clintoons not only can afford it, but likely round up some free flights from supporters.
