Before the COVID-19 pandemic, the network of pharmacies run by businessmen Alpesh and Manish Patel was struggling...One top executive had previously been convicted for his role in running a national opioid pill mill; two others, including Manish Patel himself, were barred from doing business with federal health-care programs due to allegations ranging from racketeering to conspiracy to paying illegal kickbacks.
But then the pandemic presented an opportunity: loosened rules for telehealth and long-distance prescription writing combined with massive demand for unproven COVID-19 treatments could mean big money. And the Patels soon capitalized.
First, they were able to take advantage of an influx of cash from the federal government. Between the start of the pandemic in March 2020 and April 2021, companies registered to the Patels received at least $7 million in loans from the federal government’s Paycheck Protection Program...
Ravkoo often charged patients exorbitant prices for these COVID-19 “wonder drugs."...hundreds of patients were left in the lurch...Sometimes the medication never arrived. Many people reported desperately trying to reach Ravkoo as they or their family members grew sicker waiting for the medication rather than going to a doctor. ...
... “The pharmacist said that the dosage they requested [21 mg] was high enough to kill me” based on guidelines for his body weight, Matthews told TIME....

this article, or any other individual article, isn’t meant to cover all the imagined grievances invented related to a pandemic.
It’s about a crook who got found out. And, if you count his nationwide network, it is about ‘big pharm’.
That some have reduced themselves to defending by stinking up the place with a pile of red herrings in behavior reminiscent of an addict defending their pusher.
Flat earth cult leader and ‘counterfeit immortality’ antivaxer, Rob Skiba, who recently bragged either he or the vaccinated would still be standing in 2 years (spawning yet another crazy conspiracy theory that has been parroted here), just died of covid the other day. He was the original 2012 author of ‘mark of the beast’ Nephilium alien slave master virtue-signaling. Snake oil and vanity didn’t save his life but a vaccine or monoclonals might well have, just as monoclonals saved Joe Rogan and Laura Loomer, neither of whom asked for a 20yr safety certificate, btw. Rogan even wised up and is telling people to get vaccinated.
Emotional outbursts and unfounded insidious accusations are a sign of poor anger management skills and a lack of conversational skill to effectively challenge or deflect an investigative report with logic. And calls into question the underlying motivation of such cringe-worthy public displays.
Is the goal to get FreeRepublic branded as a mis-information website? Considering the ratio of mis-information articles that are posted ad nauseum even when challenged and debunked, to the number of those offering investigative or science-based articles about CCPVirus that contradict the misinformation, some would think so.
As for left-wing? The antivax movement IS and Always-Has- Been left wing, with few legitimate exceptions. A stated marxist goal was to attend conservative events infected and spread death. Another goal was to spread scary stories aimed at conservatives. Smart people wised up to that last year. Some people, otoh, are determined to move that goal along.
Only you’re the one spewing emotional outbursts.
You sound triggered and unhinged.
Defending your leftist site drivel posts only compounds your evident meltdown.
You failed to address anything I questioned, that WAS related to your leftist troll post.
DU is ⬅️ that way.
You’re trying to speak rational truth to a troll post.
Like you, MANY have corrected the OP about PROPER and safe dosages.
Troll vax shills just gotta troll.
Yes, but it doesn't appear that they are shutting down the supply just yet. I have to assume that will be coming soon.
Now is the time to stock up while it's still possible. Horse paste is still available, and can still be found at a reasonable price. I am not hearing of people experiencing widespread difficulty getting shipments of pills from outside the country (India, in particular).
Ebay is interesting. Sellers are buying the paste in bulk and listing it on eBay at huge markups, and it's selling. For a while, eBay was removing completed listings, but they have stopped doing that. Compare that with what happened during the mask panic of early 2020 when anyone selling masks at a markup had their listings pulled immediately. All indications are that eBay is a liberal-leaning company, but they seem to be allowing horse paste sales unimpeded right now.
I really can’t speak to dosages, since they were are all over the place in studies. The Stromectol pills are 3mg, yes?. So are you taking 7 pills a day? at $10/pill? That seems pretty expensive..
Ivermectin-resistance has become quite a problem in Africa so much so they’re moving to something different. It’s not unheard of in horses, and so may also not be uncommon with viruses. Uddar Pradesh gave us Delta Plus, which may be a result of invermectin-resistance, don’t know but could be looked into. I do know their death rate was number 4 or 5 out of all Indian states consistently, although they have since become one of the most vaccinated provinces in India with corresponding fall in death rates that profiteers have painted as due to ivermectin suddenly working after a year’s use.
A common complaint of Peru doctors was 14 of 15 presenting sick at the hospital were using ivermectin before coming to the hospital. Researchers had one heck of a time finding study subjects who hadn’t taken it, so they could to a proper double blind ivermectin study.
personally, I’d say save your money and find out where your monoclonal center is. Lucky for us, we’re not a third world nation and we have monoclonals. On demand, clear, observable results and gives you about 30 days of immunity.
my post #11 addressed price gouging and proven, free treatments. Not exactly ‘leftist’ talking points.
btw, 75% of Indies and over 60% of Republicans are vaccinated. Almost all the rest of those two groups know about monoclonals, which would be their first and immediate choice of alternate treatments as evidenced by the overwhelming acceptance in states where they were initially rolled out. Monoclonals aren’t a left talking point either; they don’t think they’ll need them. (and if it were up to them, they’d ban them because they resent the cost spent on Reps/Indies using them)
Free medicine. Snicker. Your protests are hilarious. Your diversion was classic. You speak like a leftist. I think you’ve been outed.
