Does anyone have a list or a link to a list of food and items to stock up to help us get thru the coming shortages? Thanks
Ammo.... Lots and lots of ammo....
Everything, and lots of it.
Better get steaks while they are still affordable. Canned goods, and other items that will last quite a while I imagine.
My needs are not yours.

So far I have seen no impact on my world of food shortages etc. not saying they don’t exist. I guess I’m lucky.
What do you eat now?
More of that, for a start.
If times go bad you want to live the life you are used to. Stock up on what you presently consume. Lots and lots of it. Then buy some more.
Booze.. Lots of booze
Jack. Pint bottles. A boxcar full. Even if you don’t like it, you can always trade it for what you need.
Depending on the length of storage requirements, freeze dried foods last 25 years. I’ve used them on hunting trips and they are not bad. If you are going to a grocery store can and box goods will last awhile. The key is cycling through the foods so they don’t go bad.
You will need lots of lead to be able to retain your supply.

Paper products—as much as you can store—toilet paper, paper towels, kleenex, napkins.
Cleaning products—whatever you use now buy several more of all of them.
Canned foods—same.
Health and beauty items—go through your medicine cabinet and bathroom cabinet and double, triple up on everything in there.
Clothes you wear a lot (like jeans)—buy lots of them—in Europe they are crazy expensive, could happen here.
Shoes—buy extra pairs of your favorites.
Ditto for underclothes, socks, layers for winter if you live in a cold climate.
Batteries—could be power outages if the Greenies have anything to say about it. Spare flashlights.
Get a battery operated radio and scanner if you don’t have one already—also the battery operated DVD/CD players are cool if you have a collection of those.
I have supported our local food back for over 50 years, even being on the board way back when. A community food bank not only helps those in need now but others who for unforeseen reason may need it in the future.
Part of prepping should include support of your food bank.
As well as cash or surplus crops, you can rotate your end of best by date foods and replace with fresh.
There is the added bonus of a viable community food bank that when a SHTF event occurs there will be reduced pressure on people coming after your stuff.
In addition to the obvious things, don’t forget to buy some cooking oil/olive oil, salt, and spices.
Thank you
Thanks

Any thoughts on MREs or that Prep stuff that’s on tv, like it comes in an ammo can sort of thing…?
Spaghetto’s lots of spaghettos.
