Yep. Yesterday I spoke with a friend whose husband ones and A/C company here in Florida so there is always work. He had set up an interview with a young man and made special arrangements to meet him there. Her husband had to leave a job site about an hour away so he could do the interview. Halfway there he gets a call from the potential interviewee.
“Um I don’t think I want to drive down to S today it’s kind of far. (It would have been about a 30 minute drive) can we just do this over the phone?” My friend’s husband told him no and reminded him that the job and training would take place there. So if he was not willing to go for the interview why would he believe he would show up at all? Guess who got crossed off the list of potential hires.
This guy is typical of what companies are facing when they need workers. And this after they eliminate those who don’t have clean records, driving and otherwise.

Many of the lazy asses are here on Free Republic, claiming they don’t make enough money to work and that they make more sitting on their lazy asses at home doing nothing. They refuse to work. Who’s worse in this case? The Mexicans that are working their asses off fixing a roof, or the lazy asses sitting at home sucking on the government t and consuming our hard-earned tax dollars from the rest of us who are working?

I live in New Mexico and most contractor/subcontractor in the building industry are hispanic here. Sure maybe an illegal or false paper used at times but most are long time residents of the state, some with families in the area pre-dating state hood and even 1776.
Don't want a hispanic fixing your roof or installing your landscaping or doing surgery on you then you will need to look far and wide for an area without them. Like white people, they're legal and everywhere.
