3/ As stated previously, Angela was released to go home but there were concerns of COVID-related pneumonia for me. My oxygen saturation levels were initially at 85; they are now between 94-96. My blood pressure is at 120/74 and my recent temperature reading was 98.7.

Texas Republican gubernatorial candidate Allen West, who is not vaccinated, tweeted on Saturday that he may be admitted to the hospital after a chest X-ray showed he has mild pneumonia caused by the virus.
“Angela and I just completed the monoclonal antibody infusion therapy and are in the observation period. There’s a concern about my oxygen saturation levels, which are at 89 and they should be at 95. My chest X-rays do show COVID pneumonia, not serious. I am probably going to be admitted to the hospital.”
The campaign also said that West was taking hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin.

3/ CLARIFICATION: In reading the comments, it appears there is some misunderstanding: Dr. Angela West received the vaccine. LTC West did not. LTC West has publicly stated he supports individual choice and this is reflected in his own family.

I’ve been in the Hospital within the last 3 years. Never saw an O2 reading with resolution below integer values.

Influenza cases went to near zero when the medical industry counted everything as coronavirus. Influenza can turn into pneumonia (thought to be from virus), when given starch and protein and sugar that the liver cannot handle for food during flu and going on 5 day fast with vegetable broth, fat and water only. The flu can turn into sepsis and pneumonia.

I’ve found a fairly strong correlation of at rest, average blood O2 levels with Altitude. [~1000ft v. ~4000ft]
Your O2 levels may vary...
I used to do physical work at 14,000 ft,
so yeah altitude does influence oxygenation levels.

You don’t expect an active and fit 60 YO like LTC West to have a problem with COVID, but there is something that makes certain otherwise healthy people highly vulnerable while an elderly, sick, obese person gets the sniffles from it.
Good thing MABs are available and actually work. He took HCQ, IVM, Vitamin D, Zinc and all the other stuff snake oil salesmen are pushing and they were completely ineffective.

O2 sat is read as a percentage. Normal is mid to high 90s.
Not even the very best medicines are 100% effective. HCQ and ivermectin reduce hospitalization and mortality by 85%. Hardly snake oil. No one has ever claimed 100%.

Allen West has recently been in a horrible Harley accident he damn near died, his immune system has to be very weak from fighting and healing his body from this accident!! We ALL need to pray very hard for Allen West he is an extremely good man, only God can lift him out of this!!

Or it leaves you damaged, taking a long time to fully recover, if ever. Necrotic pneumonia (flu complication) left my (then in his late 50's) brother's lungs 2/3 scar tissue, a few years back. He can now function almost "normally" if not stressed, but to say he is "stronger" is nonsense. LOTS of people like this are around, if one but looks.
Best wishes to Col. West, however. Like Pres. Trump, he's another fighter. We need him.
Big Pharma and “Big Medicine” actually make a lot more $$ if one gets sick and then needs monoclonals than the cost of getting the vaccine. Not that I’m knocking monoclonals - they’ve saved many thousands of lives - but the $$ comparison you responded to is (more) nonsense. (Plenty of it on this thread.)

Are the vaccines included in this mix? If not, why? His wife was fully vaccinated and still got infected.
And was West infected by his wife, or was it the other way around?
What about zinc, vitamin D and doxy/azithro?
