I saw that too. There have been many straight out death threats against officials and politicians, these are plants to create guilt by association. If something happens to one of them for real, everyone of us here will be investigated.
The problem is “public access and viewing”. You remove the “public” factor and it all becomes “private” with legal protections as a private entity. Even the efforts of planted operatives will be useless at that point. What they/we say cannot be used against us because it is privileged information.
Then we can all actually speak freely again without it being used against us, it is protected proprietary information at that point. At least until this current “speech violations” trend blows over. I makes absolutely no sense to stick everyone’s necks out on purpose.

At the time he was warning that a government that offes money and support to 'help' us is a danger to us! What we are seeing here is that, after 09/11 and 'The Patriot Act', we also must guard against "I’m from the government and I’m here to investigate ..." A problem new to our time is the ever more powerful computer and the ability to monitor and flag! We see it in action in the PRC and too many people want to see it used here!

This is true. However, I chalk this up to the fact that when there is freedom of speech, there is outrageousness and nuttiness.
That's the way it is. You take the good with the bad.
But I would rather have the freedom to say things that are outrageous and nutty, than to have some third party be the arbiter of what thoughts I am allowed to express.
I try not to say things online that I would not say aloud in a group of people I might encounter at a party. I sure do say some inflammatory things such as:
"I have come to believe much of the destructive legislation I see coming from government is not well intentioned-it is malicious in nature."
Or...
"I keep open the possibility that this Communist Chinese virus was released intentionally by them."
Or...
"The Democrat Party is composed of people who hate America and wish to see it destroyed so they can make it in their own image."
Or...
"Leftists are mentally ill because they have to live with a huge level of cognitive dissonance caused by needing to hold two diametrically opposed thoughts in their mind as true, when only one of them can be true."
Or...
The Media is a straight up arm of the American Left. They both work in conjunction with each other and actively collaborate with each other.
And so on. You get the idea. In some of the circles I frequent, I can be sure that all of these statements would be regarded as lunatic right-wing conspiracy theories by those listening.
Depending on the circumstances, I might not volunteer my opinion, but if asked, I don't hesitate to speak my mind. Not even a bit.

Or you will get a 403 error. A server mod_security feature based on certain keywords. We had to have our host shut off the mod_security feature for our site. It was putting up errors for keywords like Ivermectin and other medication names. Turns out they use an outside politically correct 3rd party API service list of keywords to block.
