People discriminate every day. when picking out a steak at the butcher, each person will discriminate.
Discriminate does not mean prejudice. If you were grading eggs, putting the large eggs in one bin and medium eggs in another bin is not prejudice. It is discrimination.
Prejudice is not allowing POCs to participate in the gifted program.
Discrimination is allowing all qualified students to participate in the gifted program. POCs who qualify on the same terms as non-POCs are admitted.
