Alleged School Shooter In Texas Released From Jail On Bond Day After Shooting Multiple People | The Daily Wire

An 18-year-old high school student in Texas who is accused of gunning down multiple people at his school has been released from jail on bail.

“The student accused of injuring four people in a shooting at Timberview High School in Arlington on Wednesday was released on bail from the Tarrant County Jail on Thursday,” The Star Telegram reported, adding that the suspect was charged “with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.”

Due to company policy, The Daily Wire does not name or show pictures of mass shooters and alleged mass shooters.

The suspect had been transferred from Arlington jail to the Tarrant County facility before being released after posting a $75,000 bond. Video posted online showed the suspect being released.

The alleged school shooter, who is a black male, turned himself into law enforcement hours after the shooting, which sent multiple people to the hospital.

Footage on social media allegedly showed [the suspect] getting into an altercation during class with another student that escalated to gunfire Wednesday. The fight was broken up and the two students calmed down, but then [the suspect] pulled out a firearm from his orange backpack and fired several shots that struck three people, according to an arrest warrant Thursday.

Calvin Pettitt, a 25-year-old English teacher who jumped in to break up the fight, was shot in the back, suffering broken ribs and a collapsed lung, according to police and his family. The other victims were identified as Zacchaeus Selby, Eyimofe Olawepo and Pariesa Altma, according to a bond document obtained by Dallas News.

The suspect’s attorney claimed that this shooting was different because the suspect was being bullied at school, even though many school shootings that have occurred across the U.S. seemingly involve cases where the shooters were bullied.

I know of a few incidents at schools in Florida involving firearms this year. These are not shootings, but situations where kids are found to have a gun in their possession on campus. In each case, the response from the student is “for self defense”.

I can tell you with 90% certainty that he got bail from a SJW running around town with a briefcase of cash.
I know this as I have an extended family member who does this for a living.
She still thinks she is doing this for the future of America.

The school is no doubt a gun free zone. Some good that does.

I have no doubt that many kids spend the day in school in fear. Schools do nothing about the bullying. They didn’t do much back in the 60s when I was in High School. They do even less now.

Gym teachers encouraged it. I still remember most of the football players with disgust. There were a couple of bullies who would kick people who got in their way in the nuts during the basketball unit. The Instructor looked the other way. When I heard he died years later I went out and had a beer in celebration.

Look - I would be happy to give the kid a self-defense excuse.

But he left the school and came back with a gun to “attack the bullies”
But he SHOT A TEACHER WHO WAS COMING TO HELP IN THE FIGHT.

This is not, in any way, self-defense.

However, certain attorneys of certain ideologies seem to want to redefine these as “duels” and “mutual combat”

And in a sense I can go along with that too in a gangland war.
But, again - this was NOT THAT.

The bail level was irresponsible - the defense of this is irresponsible and, worse, is incitement.

“... Zacchaeus Selby, Eyimofe Olawepo and Pariesa Altma...”

Imagine trying to call roll on the first day of school. I’ve done this and make a point of calling the last name and asking them to pronounce it for me. I then try to figure out how to spell it so that I can say it. But these kids (who admittedly are dealing with bigger problems right now) are going to have to deal with their ‘unique’ first names for the rest of their lives—very office visit, every phone call, every introduction.

Here's one "school-shooting" the MSM and their political masters will ignore.

Perhaps. He was also (at least in the incident I saw) not the instigator, but more of a bullied victim that completely overreacted.

Shooting the teacher and grazing the girl is unforgivable.

But I shed no tears for the bully. Screw him.

The message is: you can shoot up your school, if you’re black, and get away with it.

The goal is: increase shootings to the point of chaos to justify disarming America, for the children.

Gym teachers encouraged it. I still remember most of the football players with disgust.

My Dad sent me to the local Catholic, all-boys school run by monks, because he felt the public high school exposed my older siblings to drugs and post-modern societal chaos. He was right about that.

The monks and the dean of student affairs ran the school tightly. One one hand, they preached Christian brotherhood and mutual respect, and on the other, had iron-fisted discipline.

There was no bullying, no crass language, certainly no fighting or drugs, no chaos. They earned my respect early in my first year when one of the star football players got caught stealing a wallet. They kicked his @ss out immediately. No debate. It was a fantastic academic atmosphere.

I commented because even at the age of 14, I saw and realized the difference comparing to friends who had the same experience as you.

Hes playing his spade card. He has already gotten better treatment than Derick Chauvan or Ashlee Babbitt.

If you are white its time to start going big or going home Because even a minor infraction will cost you big time. Might as well get the most bang for your buck.
