I just can’t find myself listening to anybody replacing Rush. I think the best person would have been the Sage from South Central.
No one can replace Rush, but sadly we have to turn the page.
They need to start engaging callers instead of letting them say something and then cut them off, ending any conversation. It seems like often they are taking a different view from the caller, but preventing conversation.
It wasn’t - and still isn’t - easy, but I just started listening and accepted he was gone...had to continue on.
No one can replace Rush but I will say Clay and Buck do a good Job and I like that they kept the format.

They seem to feel compelled to talk fast over each other. Not impressed.
I listen to them, and it seems as they still need time, however they will be good after they get used to each other...
It has turned into Clay auditioning to get rid of Buck, and my guess is that's where it's headed next year.
Clay has improved but he still approaches conservatism as a thing that needs to be implemented.
Conservatism is what you live, it's how you think.
Gutfeld, for instance, gets it. If you can harvest Leftists for fun and be successful? Rush and Gutfeld.
They’re aiming for a younger demographic, who are used to quicker speech. And their approach to callers is similar to sports talk shows. Clay had a popular one.
I can take ‘em or leave ‘em, but do shut them off when they go off on 2-hour rants against masks, or when they repeatedly run the same audio clip featuring a Dem saying something stupid. Usually the same audio clip every other radio or podcast host is using.
