On Friday’s “Fox News Primetime,” Fox Nation host Lara Logan stated that the generals responsible for the Afghanistan debacle aren’t taking responsibility, but are holding Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller responsible by “jailing him for speaking the truth.”
Logan said, “So, what they’re really doing is jailing him for speaking the truth. And I listened to the parents, and I want them to know and I want everyone in America to know that I stand 100% with their son. Because he did something that everyone in America has been waiting for for years, Brian.”
She added, “And what we’re seeing now is that they’re actually going to go to the extreme of jailing someone for something like this. They could just — they could discharge him. They could do disciplinary action, but they’re not. … The generals who are actually responsible are not taking responsibility, but they’re holding someone lower down in the chain of command responsible. So, that is the kind of hypocrisy that Americans have just had enough of.”

I think we’ve moved beyond calling it hate speech when you look at someone like Julian Assange who our CIA under Pompeo wanted to poison or kidnap while Assange was in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London.

Let's coincide that the military is no longer run by good, honorable or even intelligent men and women. I am not saying those people no longer exist in our military, they are not in charge and the system will corrupt them by the time they rise to senior positions of authority.
Smart money said they accept his resignation let him go FOX as a cult hero until he gets lost in the next crisis news cycle. Now, he is never going away. Officers have done and said stupid things over the years, resignation is a way to put it behind and not let it affect the Corps any further. He did violate the UCMJ but is a court martial really warranted?
If Trump is re-elected, I would install a SecDef who ordered a comprehensive plan to reduce all non-Combatant General/Flag Officer Billets and Staffs in each service by 25% effective 1 October 2026. Make it clear the cuts will happen 1 October whether they complete the plan or not. The plan is the DOD’s only opportunity to have input. Starting 1 October 2026, the DOD has one year to convert another 25% of their Flag billet to Colonel/Captain level with reduced Staff. Congress can write the reductions into the NDAA preventing the DOD from shuffling funds and keeping the bloated flag level staffs. The Senate can block all Officer promotions until the plan is complete. A plan similar to this was recommended to the DOD back around 2008. The DOD response was to promote more perfumed princes and princesses.

did indeed take the responsibility previously.
But all didn’t that’s the point.
You can’t throw someone into the stockade/brig just because they made you mad.
They could have given him a desk outside some General’s office.
Throw someone in jail because they made you mad?
Horrible precedent.
Congressman that met with him says he is being treated well. Than added, those who guard him actually like the guy. I am afraid, if powers that be heard it, those conditions may change.
