COVID-19 mortality risk correlates inversely with vitamin D3 status, and a mortality rate close to zero could theoretically be achieved at 50 ng/ml 25(OH)D3: Results of a systematic review and meta-analysis

... Results One population study and seven clinical studies were identified, which reported D3 blood levels pre-infection or on the day of hospital admission. They independently showed a negative Pearson correlation of D3 levels and mortality risk (r(17)=-.4154, p=.0770/r(13)=-.4886, p=.0646). For the combined data, median (IQR) D3 levels were 23.2 ng/ml (17.4 – 26.8), and a significant Pearson correlation was observed (r(32)=-.3989, p=.0194). Regression suggested a theoretical point of zero mortality at approximately 50 ng/ml D3. Conclusions The two datasets provide strong evidence that low D3 is a predictor rather than a side effect of the infection. Despite ongoing vaccinations, we recommend raising serum 25(OH)D levels to above 50 ng/ml to prevent or mitigate new outbreaks due to escape mutations or decreasing antibody activity. ...

The last sentence is important, the rest of them not so much.

I drink plenty of D “fortified milk, and I do get out in the sun, but I also take supplies.

The government forces milk sellers to add vitamin a to skim milk. Foods have more vitamin a than we need. If one has excess vitamin a, the body uses vitamin d to reduce vitamin a. The level of vitamin d is reduced faster.

It is very telling how rotten and corrupt the US medical community has become that not a single doctor I have ever had has tested my Vitamin D levels or asked if I was taking supplements. They just push Statins. Vitamins are just an afterthought. Big Pharma owns them lock, stock, and barrel, so everything is about expensive prescription medicine. You ask about vitamins and all you get is “well, they can’t hurt”.

I don’t blame front line Doctors for this. It is the Medical schools, AMA, hospitals foundations, and Big Pharma that is depriving Doctors of good training in medical schools. Barely a word about vitamins or dietary nutrition. Oh, I have had very good doctors who do promote “lifestyle choices”, diet and excercise. But nothing ever specific or helpful

What do I get from Doctors? “Don’t eat fat or cholesterol”, which is exactly wrong.

Read this book. The author has been shut down due to speaking out against the jab.

And this book. All about how our food is full of crap and the endless cycle of sick people and Big Pharma.

It is all truly the epitome of evil.

It would be interesting to know if low D3 levels can lead to adverse affects from the vaccine

Can we, Freepers, pro-vaxxers and anti-vaxxers, agree that Vitamin D is crucial for fighting Covid-19 and everyone should aim for a level of 50 ng/ml?

Just had mine measured after supplemental D3 for the last few years.

It was 76.

Excess vitamin d reduces vitamin k. Vitamin k is not needed to absorb vitamin d.

I expect the government to start limiting the Vitamin D supplement supply, now.

Can anyone say how much D3 you would need to reach that level?

I've been taking a dose of 4,000 - 5,000 for a couple of years now.

Mine was at 13 when I began. It's now at 76.
