I have 947.58 Mbps Download and 17.85 Mbps Upload, on xfinity. No problems here.
I haven’t had any issues today, but had to replace a router about a week ago that seemed to be working ok except for a “DNS” issue (which seemed like equipment outside of mine just didn’t want to or was told to “not talk to me” anymore.
I did run across a comment on FR about executing this command that might have helped, maybe you can try it (but not familiar with it, use at your own risk):

Try rebooting your modem…unplug it for a minute then replay it
We moved in the past year from Sillycon Valley to Arkansas — changed Intarweb providers from Comcast (*spit!*) to a local company — and our web surfing speeds are like 3x what they were.
This is a great site to test your Internet’s speed.
You can compare days when you think it’s slow.
How slow? Which sites? Which ISP?
What do you expect? FR has had 4,000,000 posts. She is tired. You would be too!

When is the last time you reinstalled your OS? (like I am going to go through that nosebleed).
Seriously — are you sure you don’t have virus or malware? May wish to check.

I have had pages not load recently then after closing the tab and then clicking on the link again it opens.
I have reset my modem and router and made sure they had the latest software.
