A heartless neonatal ICU nurse has been fired for mocking a newborn with a birth defect by posting photos of the sick infant on social media and writing 'your intestines posed to be inside not outside baby'.
Sierra Samuels, who had worked as a nurse at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami since 2016, was fired Thursday following the outcome of a weeks-long investigation into a patient privacy breach, reported CBS Miami.
Samuels had posted two photos on her Instagram of a baby in her care who had been born with a condition causing its intestines to be outside of its body.

Congratulations, your grandson was extremely fortunate.
Often the abdominal wall is deficient & grafting is involved with several surgeries. There can be long term GI complications in severe cases.
That was obvious.
Jax Memorial and I guessed her ethnicity imediately
Her intent is irrelevant.
She had hundreds of followers on her private Instagram account.
If any were colleagues, saw this, and didn’t report it...
There indeed will be a huge lawsuit and the parents will own the hospital and that nurse. It may indeed come to the point that all cell phones in hospitals and other setting will have to be taken when you enter the door or left at home.

Very sick and twisted sense of humor.
As long as it’s not public and it’s among themselves.

When I was 15, my dad took us to Hershey park.
My best friend went with us.
We got lost and eventually dad had to stop and ask a man for directions.
He was a hillbilly, poor and toothless.
My friend started mocking him and making faces and I laughed at *her*.
Without even missing a beat in the conversation or taking his eyes off that man, he whipped his arm over the seat back and bitch slapped me across the face with a fluidity and grace that was horribly admirable.
That was 45 years ago and I have never made light of another persons’ physical deformities or misfortunes, since.
I may have been collateral damage since it was the friend laughing at the man, but it was a priceless lesson, nonetheless.
She has serious mental problems and should never be allowed in the medical field ever. She is a danger to patients and coworkers.
They may want to do a history of deaths under her supervision and or watch
If anyone should ever be DOX’ed its this POS
So its okay with you to post pics of dying Covid patients they are taking care of that are on vents with the caption

NO
It is not okay
Would you feel the same if it was your child?
Would you get the joke, then?
Very sick and twisted sub human. Sense of humor not an issue. Mental stability or lack of for sure.
You’d think if you were reaching the bottom of a hole, you’d stop digging.
Would you feel the same if it was your child?Would you get the joke, then?
If I did not know about it it would not affect me. As I said her fault was making it public.
I will say it one last time. This stuff is extremely common among medicalstaff, police, EMTS, fire fighters who see horrendous stuff. It enables them to laugh about it or otherwise they would be going home and shooting their brains out.

Where did I say that? Show me. I said it three times. Her only fault was making it public. See my post #98
