A heartless neonatal ICU nurse has been fired for mocking a newborn with a birth defect by posting photos of the sick infant on social media and writing 'your intestines posed to be inside not outside baby'.
Sierra Samuels, who had worked as a nurse at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami since 2016, was fired Thursday following the outcome of a weeks-long investigation into a patient privacy breach, reported CBS Miami.
Samuels had posted two photos on her Instagram of a baby in her care who had been born with a condition causing its intestines to be outside of its body.

Every now and then I relate a “before” story to a friend here in New Mexico about how the blacks in South Florida were often “different”. Not all of them, of course, but there was a high percentage of the black population that had an ongoing, simmering, anti-social, anti-white attitude.
The day we did orientation at my high school there was a race riot.
My first grade class was the first integrated class at my school. When I tried to befriend a black classmate, she told me “My mama said not to talk to white people.”
My son was almost a victim of the knock out game at his middle school. Fortunately he was a high-red belt and blocked the attack and dislocated the attackers elbow at the same time.
When managing a Radio Shack I had a black youth threaten me with a knife while his friends took auto stereos.
Here in New Mexico black people are just like everyone else, at least in social interactions. In South Florida, they are often feral.

A friend of mine, her grandson was born with this and he is a healthy 7 year old little boy today, a miracle child. It’s amazing that doctors can repair this kind of birth defect. He spent months in a CHOPS hospital.

I’m always going to give the benefit of the doubt to neonatal ICU nurses — the women who in fact and deed care for these tiny angels to keep them alive as much as they can.

As for her speaking empathy? Nope. Not with someone else’s kid. Put out there on Instagram or wherever she put it.
If it was her kid, niece/nephew, whatever, she can do what she wants.
