Who would secede, and how does it work?

For example, would a conservative state such as Wyoming secede? Or would a liberal state such as Vermont secede? Would states secede individually, or group together when a big group secede, as happened when the Confederacy was formed? As i recall, those states seceded one by one, and then formed the Confederacy.

But is there a clean liberal/conservative split among states that is realistic? For example, Illinois is a conservative state when you get outside the Chicago area. Michigan is conservative when you get outside Detroit. Much of upstate New York is quite conservative. New York City and environs is what makes New York a “blue” state.

So if a liberal state seceded, there would be huge numbers of conservatives in most of those states trapped behind enemy lines, so to speak.

There’s already a coalition of red states filing lawsuits and fighting the current administration on multiple shares fronts. That would be a good start and encompasses the southern states and big energy producers.

We don’t have any big libtard cities to worry about in my state.
They can leave or keep their mouths shut.

This is just political masturbation.

We can’t even make school boards work. Conservatives suck at enemy identification. We’ve made this mess by feeding hoards of tapeworms with our taxes. People vote for “safety nets” which mean crooked government and then act all surprised that government is crooks.

If you’re not even going to clean up the mess in your own state, then talk of secession is just an escapist fantasy.

“Who would secede, and how does it work?”

Therein lies just one of many problems. The major cities are democrat controlled. The dem infestation runs deep. Few if any politicians are calling for secession. Conservatives can’t even control a party much less a country. It is a pipe dream.

We’d have to move.

But I prefer agreement on splitting up the country geometrically.

Some will have to move. Big deal. Whining about that when millions of people left on ships across oceans to come here is spoiled.

Refuse to send money to DC, refuse to take money from DC, refuse Fed agencies in state, refuse to enforce non state approved Fed ‘laws’ in state.

The fight will be at the precinct up to the county level. Then counties will decide if they want to stay in a state or join another state.
