Our Constitution puts individual rights first, before the collective. Everywhere else, and I mean EVERYWHERE, they put the “rights of the collective” first, above the rights of the individual. Only here in the USA do we believe that what is in the best interests of the collective IS INDIVIDUAL rights - so they must come first and not be violated at the will of the collective, which really translates to “government tyrants speaking for ‘everyone’”.
I’m an immigrant to this country - it took me a while to realize this. What frightens me is that it isn’t being taught, too many Americans don’t seem to realize this either.
Australia needs a homegrown IRA to go after the prawns.
