When are voters going to learn when you elect Freaks of Nature to public office they are there to implement their own twisted political agenda that pushes their own immoral proclivities on all of society. I am witnessing this very thing in the U.S. right now.
Just to clarify, in German elections you only vote for the party, not the person. If the party gets 20% of the vote, they get to fill 20% of the seats in parliament.
Each party maintains a list of people to fill the seats. If you are, say, Angela Merkel and lead the list - the only way you don’t get a seat is if the party receives no seats in the election (generally less than 5% of the vote).
OTOH, if you are 13th on the list and your party gets 14 seats - poof, your in!
IOW, the people didn’t specifically vote for those two individuals, they simply occupied the correct position on the list.
But we ARE talking about the Greens/Left here, so the voters may not care.

I have been to some of the raunchiest ports of calls in the world, I mean we’re talking, dirty, scummy, crime-ridden... The Works. And right up there at the top of that list three or four ports in Europe. I think Marseille was one of the..... look, I refused to even eat there it was that bad.

I guess it was about 15 or 20 years ago when all this trans, tranny stuff started getting talked about etc... to be honest I actually thought they were talking about Transmissions.
One (right) doesn't look too bad, as he doesn't try to do too much.
The other (left) is literally Gollum with a wig.
Even more confusing would be a transmission shop run by a ‘tranny’, though I think that other mechanics would have ‘cured them’ of that predilection before they could have started such a business.
Over in Europe, they call that part of a car the “gearbox”.
Here in overlord Kenney’s fiefdom of Alberta, ‘gearbox’ is a term I use sometimes to describe certain politicians, at least when I am in public. Privately? A whole slew of other less positive words.
