I haven't posted for several years after my comments were unceremonially erased by moderators. I am a conservative who voted for Trump and hope to vote for Pompeo. So my pedigree is established. I'm afraid that FreeRepublic is becoming a nucleus for some very bad information about covid. I've had several uvaccinated friends die in their 40's from covid. This dangerous possible bioweapon is very dangerous. I am vaccinated and am glad I am. My 101 year old mother in law survived a bout with covid because of her vaccinations. The vaccine is a rough one. I had 2-3 days of side effects leaving some scars on my shoulder. The MRNA vaccines. The vaccine (more like a prophylactic therapeutic ) does not protect you from the disease. It only mitigates symptoms. I'm saying all this to urge conservatives that are in risk categories to get vaccinated. We have already lost at least 2 talk show hosts and Herman Cain to this insidious Wuhan flu. So go ahead and flame me and join the suffering ones from Idaho.
You are the second person in the past couple of days to mention melatonin as a Covid preventative. I take it as a sleep aid; what is it’s supposed benefit regarding Covid?
All one needs to know is that when President Trump recommended people get the vaccine, all the lefties were saying that they wouldn't get it if Trump was recommending it. Then when Biden stole his way into the White House, those same people are now demanding that everyone get the vaccine. It's the same damn vaccine.
The tests don't work. The vaccines don't work. The shots have created the variants, and the efficacy of the shots are slim to none.And now they want you to get a booster, and a booster-booster, and a booster-booster-booster.
Those Dr.s and Hospitals are giving patients.

The authoritarian mandates are wrong. The left is using this for a power grab, but that does not mean Covid and how to manage it isn’t a legitimate issue.
I remember when Trump let each state be as heavy-handed or as free as it wanted, and the left called Trump a dictator. Now Senile Joe is mandating everything (or his handlers are) and the left loves it. If Trump were office today, he would simply be offering the vaccines and probably other things but without mandates and the left would call him “Hitler.” The Al Sharptons would say Trump is pushing vaccines to People of Color as a White Nationalist conspiracy to poison them. It would be everywhere in the mainstream media that the vaccines are poison. That would be the PC opinion now.

After watching the corporate docstooges in action here in the US, we might have to re-assess what the definition of "a second-rate medical system" is.
Pharmastooges blocking access to drugs you can get for free or over the counter in third world countries is a giant red flag to me.
BS. I've seen what the vaccine has done to two of my young co-workers and their spouses. Her husband had two emergency-room visits for the vaccine reaction. Then he caught COVID!!!
I'll be damned if my 85-year-old mother, who suffers from advanced COPD, is going to get vaccinated. It's liable to do her in, seeing what my associates went through.
Your story reinforces my belief that whenever we think we have the answers on this disease, pro-vax or anti-vax, this treatment or that treatment, some new development arises or some contrary statistic is reported.

Not trying to argue, just truly trying to understand what you meant by actual “cures are available”. I’m not aware of many, if any, cures hospitals are giving....and, certainly, that haven’t been discussed, here.
