I agree with you. In order to believe some of the things you read, you would have to believe a handful of “elitists” want to kill 7/8 or more of the worlds population, so they can live in stone age conditions for a short time before they, too expire, and you have to believe “news” sources that you have never heard of before, along with “experts” you have never heard of. Believing all that is a “bridge too far” for me. I don’t believe in mandates, but I don’t believe in people trying to convince some of the most vulnerable people to not get vaccinated, either. I have lost two friends and a family member to COVID, so far.

My wife got Covid about six months ago. She basically had a cold, except with a slight fever. She and I made no effort to quarantine from each other even though I had not had Covid before and was not vaccinated. I never got it.

Your friends were most likely not killed from 99.3% survivable COVID, but from having life saving therapeutics withheld.
