The Sergeant also received several awards in his time in the military like the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Korean Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and Nation Defense Service Medal.
According to background documents obtained by First Coast News, McDowell lived at Camp Pendleton in California, a Marine Corps training base, from 2006 to 2009.

What is up with these former or ‘ex’ combat vets going off the deep end? I just read that other Marine, Bryan Riley, the one who shot & killed that Florida family of four including a helpless baby in its mother’s arms a couple weeks ago is facing the death penalty.
