A British outdoorsman paddling through Scotland’s Loch Ness for a long-distance charity canoe trip may have inadvertently captured drone footage of the fabled Loch Ness Monster.
“The last thing I want to do is make a Nessie claim,” Richard Mavor told The Post. “I’m the most skeptical of people. But watching this I think yeah, there’s something a bit strange here.”
The video image taken last month of a long, thin form just beneath the water’s surface was so fleeting that Mavor, 54, didn’t notice it when he posted it Sept. 1.

It’s an elephant.
Standing wave.
yup- it’s right in line with all the other waves- moving same direction-
Not very convincing...
although the video is kinda weird=- it moves against the direction of waves- contrary to my view of the still photo-
Finally some conclusive evidence of the Loch Ness monster. People have been searching for decades for an elusive dinosaur like creature which is the only one of its kind which sucks for him or her being lonely for decades and practically immortal as well as elusive. And don’t get me started on the fact that it took this long to find the only member of a species of animal that only lives in one place on earth which is a relatively small freshwater lake. It seems to me that the searchers have been poor at their work if kne guy with a 60 dollar drone can find it in a weekend. The only thing left to do now is capture it and kill it so we can find out how it managed to live this long.
It’s Laundrie.
I’m thinking the second photo in the article was better. I didn’t see it in this one (even with the red circle) until I saw the second one.
But I’m thinking it came up awful close to the shore. Wouldn’t the water be too shallow there? Not sure Nessie would get that close....
Blurry and indistinct. Definitely Bigfoot/UFO/Nessie imagery.
23 square miles with an arrange depth of 150 yards is not “small.”
That said, this was a standing wave and some debris.
Indeed, Proof once again of AIBT (Alien Image Blurring Technology).
If it’s, ever, proven that The Monster doesn’t exist, then their tourism money would decrease significantly! Real or not, all worldwide myths and monsters help increase worldwide tourism monies!
Locals keeping the myth alive in an attempts to get tourist up into the Scotland netherlands where hardly anyone goes. The locals hoping they bring loads of cash to spend locally while visiting, and looking for Nessy.
No, there is a very distinct and sharp drop off there........
Enlarging the video to full screen, you can watch what may be its head just below that rock, slowly move from left to right........
As we used to yell in theatres......FOCUS!
Those folks on shore should be thankful that Nessie didn’t lift her head out of the water to get a better look. If that really was Nessie (I’ll play along for now) she looked pretty close to shore and her sudden appearance might have … umm … startled the shore party.
I don’t see anything
