I took the Melatonin for the same reason. They put me on rotating shifts a year before I retired. I can take 5mg but more than that or if I take it for too long I get seriously depressed. I stop for a while and I can take it again.

Thank you, Steve. I take care of the fish oil, I think, by eating a can of sardines in olive oil for lunch every day. I track nutrients in the foods I eat in Chronometer, to make sure I am maximizing nutrition through foods.
But I am always trying to improve to make up for earlier years when I followed the food pyramid - never occurred to me that “they” were wrong about diet and nutrition!
I don’t know about Kats - he seems an odd fellow, possibly Aspie, with a bit of ADHD mixed in. Very hard to follow, and we should be careful when listening to internet folks, double checking their info with other sources, and keeping our personal physicians informed, so they can watch for issues!
I am old enough to remember niacin being prescribed in high doses for heart, vascular, and inflammation back in the old days, and it worked well. A lot of folks hated the flushing, though, and didn’t stay with it.

If what I am reading is right, flush Niacin is the one that is not supposed to cause liver issues. It’s the original old timey Niacin. It’s the one they replaced it with, Niacinamide, that is more dangerous. It’s flush free. Any Niacin just scares me though.
I have blood drawn twice a year. My nutrition is always really good but my D3 was a little lower than she liked last time so she doubled it. The Omega3 Krill Oil causes bruising more than the low dose aspirin so if I start to bruise I drop it down to one capsule a day for a while.
Pause and consider how f***ed up all of that is... but also pause and be glad you were chosen to witness the rigged system getting broken up in your lifetime... after how many centuries?

you are right, from what I read, about the Niacinamide.
The is some info here about using nutrition/supplements for health. But, always consult your common sense, and check with your doc before “being your own doc”.
To get back on topic, let’s remember what Trump said about therapeutics as being a solution to Covid. I do think he was and is right but he is facing medical monsters, who care more about power, money, and social status than caring for patients correctly.

You would have to revoke the licenses of 80% of the doctors in this country. Revoke most for just being too stupid or lazy too keep up with what's going on and the rest for not giving a damn.

She doesn’t know about the Zinc/Quercetin and Vit.K......
I have been taking Vit D3 5000iu, vit C 1000mg, zinc 50mg elemental zinc, 1000 mg of Quercetin. I have heard people say to mix in Vit k. I dont know why and in quantity. Where do you get Vit k.
And in what quantity
Vitamin k2 as menaquinone-7 is what you should take to make sure the calcium gets put in the right places in your body, and not in your soft tissues, arteries, etc. If you take vitamin d3, you need to take the K2 along with it.
Amazon is where I get mine, and it is combined in one very small round cap. 5,000 iu d2, and 100 mcg k2 as above.
Don’t forget to have your vitamin d levels tested when you get your bloodwork done. You want it to be over 50, or so I read, and some folks want to see it up around 80, but let your doc decide, if you trust him to keep up with the research.
Uh Oh, don’t tell a certain poster about that. It’s the vaccine that saved Japan’s butt according to him. I won’t name him because then I would have to ping him and we don’t want him here.
