So we have what, 5 black Americans moving to Africa...and 15,000 black Haitians flooding into the U.S. Yeah, this is such a terrible place for blacks to live.

Blacks for the most part were born in the western world and completely rejected it. Since the 50s there has been a split. 70 years ago the black family and the white family were indistinguishable. They had the same values, the same beliefs, the same love of country. Not anymore.

Not one mention of the Ashanti tribe that did the selling of black slaves from what was then not Ghana. The article is just a hate piece against America.

Sonjiah Davis was the epitome of Washington cool. She was a well-connected, successful therapist trained to deal with emotional health. And yet, living in the capital of the United States, she says she was constantly looking over her shoulder.
I've been to Ghana. It's a beautiful country filled with friendly people. And it was a British colony, so most everyone speaks English. Though Miss Davis may have difficulties transitioning to her new homeland. I find African blacks to be culturally much different than American blacks.

I wonder how many Ghanians would love to emigrate to the USA and become Americans?

$10,588.00
A quick Google search tells us the median income in Ghana is $10,588.00
Hell, you’d do better on welfare here in the states rather than move to Ghana.
This article - like most CBS articles - is BS.

"I was educated, professional. I had friends. I was a socialite… but I never felt safe."A lot of Americans share that sentiment, but many black folks are Fine Upstanding Americans.
She was talking about feeling unsafe from being around black folks, right? Does she know there's a lot of black folks in Africa, right?

"I was living what people would consider the American dream," she told Patta. "I was educated, professional. I had friends. I was a socialite… but I never felt safe."
Shocking! That anyone living in DC would say that!
Look sister. I'm a white male. And even I would not feel safe in DC
