Uber might be the worst way for a fugitive to travel. The whole process is built on electronic notifications, transactions, and tracking that can be traced forever.
Seems that charges of ‘obstruction’ could (and should) be filed against that family.
I was thinking about how I could off myself in the Everglades and make it hard to ever be discovered. I would head to a section of the park where I knew there were gators, hopefully in sight, then tie a short rope around my neck with a cinder block attached to the other end. Then I would walk out into the swamp as far as I could, cinder block in one hand and a pistol in the other. I'd shoot myself in the head, which would make me drop the pistol and the cinder block would drag me down under the water. If, by chance, the bullet didn't kill me I would quickly drown. The blood would attract gators and fish who would make sure I was never found.
Well, that messes up my escape plan...
If they aided him before that, but after they knew he was responsible for the girl's disappearance, then they'd potentially be charged for a hell of a lot more than just obstruction of justice.
You can always go through the process of fleeing in an Uber ride ... but have a friend of yours who looks like you take the ride instead. :-P
...no mutual extradition treaty unless you're Elián González!
In peering into his background, the FBI probably found out that he’s a libtard so they’re pulling back on all efforts to find him. Eric Holder and Peter Sztrok are in charge of finding him now.
He was NEVER in that SWAMP!!!
BINGO! Dumb police work
Sure, if you could find it underwater somewhere in a 25,000 acre swamp. Even if they could find that needle in the haystack all that would do is prove someone tossed a pistol into a swamp.
“The FBI made sure to let us know Wray was watching this case closely” ????????????????
The FBI!
The FBI is working on a criminal case? Will wonders never cease.

The facts aren’t out yet, but this case reminded me of a very ugly murder years ago in central Illinois.
Warning, graphic details.

But it’s too late to say you’re sorry
How would I know? Why should I care?
Please don’t bother trying to find him
He’s not there
So many agents in DC looking for right wing protesters to lock up there aren’t enough to monitor serial killers. 🤪
Yes, he’s a zombie by now....................Double tap... Just to be sure..............
LOL
The parents need to be charged with hindering the investigation and make them pay for wasting the time and equipment used in that wild goose chase search.
