I’ve driven with ‘flippies’ many times; no problem. You can feel through them.

But I know someone who drove wearing Crocs. He missed the brake, hit the accelerator, and rammed into the side of a building, knocking out a bunch of bricks.

Flippies are a lot safer when driving than Crocs, IMHO.

You don’t know that. They may be. They may have helped him get out of the country. It’s strange that they say they picked up their car on Wed. were he left it, and didn’t tell anyone he was missing until Fri. late in the day. That gave him a 3 day head start. It’s certainly suspicious.

Saw a news report that the kid told his parents he was going for a hike. When he didn’t return they went out looking for him and found his parked car and decided to take it back to their house. Doesn’t smell right.

If your kid is missing why take his car where he left it in case he comes back late? And why not call the cops immediately?
