Children and young people around the world are experiencing increasing anxiety over the fate of the planet -- specifically climate change and how lawmakers are handling the looming crisis, according to new research.
Scientists who surveyed 10,000 young people, ages 16 to 25, across 10 countries, found "widespread psychological distress" among them, and, for the first time, discovered that the anxiety was significantly related to perceived government inaction...
...Nearly half of all young people surveyed, more than 45%, said their feelings about climate change negatively affect their daily life and functioning, according to the study.
Another 75% of those surveyed said they feel the future is frightening...
...The results of the study were not surprising and indicate a lack of trust toward the government as well as the perception of institutional betrayal, Lisa Van Susteren, a general and forensic psychiatrist and co-author of the study, told ABC News....

Actually this is a result of spiritual declension. Realizing a high standard of living - the indirect results of obedient faith in the God of the Bible which brings man to be controlled from within and not needing a large octopus of a government, man forsakes the God of his fathers, and is seduced by proxy servants of the devil which preverts what God has ordained.
Rather than worship of God, and expressions of dependence upon Him and gratitude to Him by government itself, atheism and godless secularism is fostered by banning such while making people increasingly dependent on the State as if it were as god. Rather than the church and home being the primary forgers of character, liberal schools and media leads lead the way. Rather than traditional morality, people are told the real "sins" are everything from eating meat to using biology to determine who is a man or women, to eating meat.
Rather than marriage and procreation being the norm, fornication, contraception and abortion are promoted, so that if children are even produced, for most it is that of one or two children families to older parents who waited until they could "afford" them, meaning spoil their children, often leaving them not learning to share and go without, and hindering the ability to form relationships while even being fearful of interactions and the world, and being trained up in perverse morality.
I feel bad for them. Ok, I am going to see if there is anything good on TV. 😀

Perhaps the children believe the annual proclamations that “we’re all gonna die in ten years”.
Just another tool of the communists. The children of our adversaries are not fretting about some weather boogieman. They are preparing for conflict against the weak west that is about to collapse unto itself from self loathing. They are getting ready to pick from the corpse of what was once Western Europe as they eyeball North America’s open borders.
Our kids are worried about the weather and which gender they belong to this week..

Ask yourself a question kids. If the sea levels are going to rise in less than 10 years, then why did Barack Hussein Obama buy a mansion on Martha’s Vineyard?
Many of kids I know who are currently entering college or the workforce are struggling with depression or anxiety. I call them “generation fear”. And it’s not just about “climate change” and covid they have been taught to stress over. They grew up during the recession are feeling very apprehensive about the economy and their future, even more so now with Biden. They are nervous about marriage, having children, college, everything. Many of my sons friends are working to get through college. I think a lot of them would be better served skipping college at this point and getting a trade. A lot of high demand, job security. Physical work is cathartic in my opinion.
The bottom line though, is that many of them face all this uncertainty without faith in God. No wonder they feel so little hope. Our ancestors faced tough times in this country, but for the most part they had faith to see them through. It’s all very sad.
How long has this "crisis" been "looming?" 30 years? That a lotta loom.
Teach them all about science fiction.
Thus proving that the left’s fearmongering, including that of ABC, is having its intended effect.
