Arkansas rushed for 333 yards on its way to a 40-21 blowout win over No. 15 Texas in front of 74,531 Saturday night inside of Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville (Ark.).
The Razorbacks (2-0) held a 16-0 lead at halftime and tacked on 17 more in the third quarter while holding the Longhorns (1-1) to just 256 total yards of offense on the night. Arkansas fans rushed the field as the Hogs took a knee and ran out the final seconds of their lopsided upset victory.

OSU Defense needs some work.
After yesterday it does.
Texas Longhorns seem ready to join Nebraska and Florida State in the former powerhouses to pathetic also-ran futility club. Michigan gets a temporary reprieve based on their early beating cupcake successes.
I very much doubt your premise, Texas has been coming back for the last 10 years (last year they were improved).
They have been the 800 lbs gorilla and have gotten their way and left destruction in their path for some time now, in the SEC they will simply be another team that is likely to be mediocre at best.
Be careful what you wish for.
Have fun for the next four years in the Big 12, the lowly 8 will look forward even more to each encounter.
Most importantly, may God bless you and all who you care about.
Oops I forgot Tennessee is also in the former powerhouse to also-ran futility club.
Texas hasn’t even been doing well in the Big 12 since Mac Brown left.
They are adding teams as soon as Tecas and Oklahoma depart. Byu, Cincinnati, Houston and UFC. Returning to 12 teams. Unanimously accepted.
The Big 12-2 will spank them on their way out the door.
Tennessee could eventually get back to a higher level. As could most of those other schools. My hope is that a new winner of the SEC will emerge this season. Bama is too strong for too many years. All hail the new champion...Ga. Fla. A&M?! Seriously, maybe, we could hire a witch doctor to place a hex on Bama. Itching power in their shoes?
You can count on that.
Party like it’s 19999. Enjoy it while we can. The Zombie Apocalypse is almost upon us.
If I’m gonna make friends among my new AR neighbors, looks like I’m gonna have to get into UAR sports.
SOOIE PIIIIG, or something
That may be a little too much exuberance for that game. The TX. QB was off. In fact the whole Tx. team looked off compared to last week. We made some mistakes that need corrected. I believe we have the best coaching staff that we’ve had in a while. When the kids buy in, they can overachieve and do good things. But we have one of the toughest schedules and we will be really tested to see if we bend or break.
Greetings neighbor, then. Wear an Arkansas Razorback t-shirt and you’ll fit right in.
REVENGE FOR 1969!
I’ll admit I don’t follow Your post at all. I was referring to an old comment/joke about God is a Longhorn. Why ? Because the Sunset js Burnt Orange. (Team colors are Burnt Orange and White.)
Way back in the 70’s - 80’s the Longhorns beat the Razorbacks and I was living in Austin, My Brother was in Little Rock. As a joke I sent My Brother a Sympathy Card with all the newspaper clippings that I could find.
He told Me that if I ever did it again He was going to whoop My butt.
I don’t follow any stick and ball sports anymore. When I did I was in Austin. One day I was visiting Doc, an old guy that used to work at Dirty Martins Kum Back Burgers down on the “Drag” and He was fighting cancer and had no Family so several of His regular customers were helping Him. I had grocery shopping and delivery that week. As I’m putting away the food there was a knock at the door. I answer it and standing there was Earl Campbell from the Horns just stopping by to check on Doc. That was pretty cool to meet Him.
Wear an Alabama jersey. They’ll love your independent spirit.
This was Steve Sarkisian’s first game as Texas head coach and I’m surprised I haven’t seen any anti-Sarkisian comments on this thread.
I would, but ... but ... where can you buy them?
