Bush gave a speech on 9/11 today and all I heard was that guys like me - who went to war under him AND his father - were a terrorist threat to our country.

Bush didn’t talk about his mess of a policy in Afghanistan and Iraq or the young men and women whom it killed. No, he was lecturing the American people on walking into the Capitol. Next he’ll be talking about the evils of drunk driving, having been convicted of it, and his wife may try to teach drivers ed, based on her “unfortunate” past. A couple of real phonies. When will the few conservatives in the DC Republican establishment denounce the cabal. After the DC Republicans went all in on the coup 1/7 why didn’t Trump denounce them? Trump endorsed a primary challenger to Cheney in Wyoming last week and the first thing Trump’s candidate has to do is resign from the f’n RNC. We need someone lead us away from these Judases. Trump hasn’t a clue when dealing with the DS.

Ditto. The Bushes were always closet leftists on just everything except the interests of big business. They have the political opinions of their social class. When you’re Andover and Yale and Episcopal Church USA, chances are that your hold the values of the majority of your ilk at those institutions. The Bushes did their best to conceal this in order to win elections (wearing Texas attire, mouthing pro-life platitudes and eating pork rinds), though you always had a Barbara or a Laura off to the side whispering that she was a Planned Parenthood kinda gal. Finally the mask is off. They never forgave Trump and his supporters for defeating JEB! in 2016, and thus they’ve enthusiastically embrace all the phony narratives about Trump that Democrats’ and the mainstream media have concocted.

That’s the high price for globalism - perpetual war to try to destabilize governments, including America, that are in the way, and keep everybody in line. It just won’t work, but they keep pushing it.
