When you deny involvement when there is no crime, you sound suspect.
Things have become completely unhinged in the nation’s capital, so why not add to the mayhem? For a few days now, it has been a story of mild interest in the area that five zebras have escaped from a compound where they had been kept. They have reportedly splintered to evade capture, with one trio running off and the remaining duo taking a different escape plan.
It’s the kind of nonsensical story that is basically welcomed, what with the world in complete disarray from the border, to the White House, to Afghanistan, and even our banks, as the economy continues to meltdown, to say nothing of our own President Softserve calling to override the Constitution on the regular. Hell, a small herd of black-and-whites on the lam is a far more tolerable piece of news worth following.
But if this is considered a weird story (as a Floridian I am unsure, as our measure of weird is far higher than most) but there is a component to this one that has arrived that certainly raises the stakes. As the days of freedom unspooled, there is now the arrival of a new aspect to this story, and if anyone comes up with a cogent explanation, I am receptive to interpretation. While some are curious how this escape transpired we have a federal politician arriving to clear her name.
D.C. Representative Eleanor Holmes Norton has released a statement today, and it is the kind of thing that requires more questions to be asked. Norton’s release declares boldly that she denies any involvement in the release of the zebras. ...". . .

Someone did train a team of zebras to pull a carriage on a bet... But I would think as a rule they are too flighty and fighty... Even regular jack asses are tough hombres.
Bison can do the same thing only higher... That is, if they don’t just shove the fence over.
They paint the donkeys up as zebras in Tijuana for tourist photos...
Five zebras but sooooo many RINOs
Diss article is racess.
Kamala and AOC must be very excited.
The only person I know to have escaped there was a big black dude. He said he’s never going back. I think he was involved with some “interesting businessmen”...
was his name corn pop?...
LOL, no Q.
Not that Q though.

“You can mate a zebra with a donkey and get a hybrid known as a zonkey. There has to be a joke in there someplace.”
Zonkey. Hm... Perhaps Cheech and Chong rode one.
Zebra printers (as much as I despise printers) stand up to years of 24x7 use where I am.
Lucky guy me is the one who gets the early AM phone call on a weekend to change a 170 type out or put some rollers in a little one.
If I had a nickel for all the labels they’ve kicked out in the past decade and change in service, that would be a fat check.
“a good idea for a Tiger to guard his drug house.” . . .
Now must confess severe curiosity as to the rest of the story . . .
Let me know if one of them is 8’x10’ laying down... 🦓
Not yet, but one may desire to go there to arrange it.
Not so with zebras, monkeys, apes, and most wild animals. Even when hand raised and tame, they retain a wild streak and can become dangerous with little warning. More than that, they do not get simple signals from humans that dogs and horses easily recognize. For zebras as a species, humans are alien beings not to be comprehended or trusted. With a few hundred years of intense selective breeding, that could change, but why bother?
Let’s see... Zebras? Big deal!! In DC, there’s a lot of Jackasses and RINOs.... 🤓
