The dollar is tanking.

Buy silver and gold.

I wonder if the Chinese are eating American beef?

I saw grass fed organic ground beef 85/15 at our little grocery store today for $5.99/lb. Same price as the regular stuff. Had some in my cart but my debit card wouldn’t work. Transaction Declined. Worked fine at the gas station across the street.

With the fires out west and drought, the price to raise these animals has gone up dramatically. Then factor in the price of fuel to get them processed. And this generous labor market where employers have to offer top wages to even attract low level employees.

Alot goes into the price of that T bone!

Holy cow!

Funny but Biden could be given a cue card saying "As a deeply religious man and I have come to the conclusion that like India we are declaring cows to be sacred. None shall be killed for food as of Noon today."

I read once that the soil and heat in India made it inhospitable to raising cattle, unlike Europe and the British Isles. The scrub weeds and dried grass couldn't support herds. So they became sacred. I never found verification for that so don't blast me. I did read it once.

You forgot the barf alert on tofu. I eat veggie meals 2 - 3 times a week but never yucky tofu. Can buy nice little bean burgers that are actually quite yummy. And imitation chicken cutlets with a delish orange sauce.

There are some recipes online that make tofu look palatable, but require too much time to make.

They discovered you are on FR so canceled you.

That is a joke-----as of this time tonight, so far.

“The starting place is MASS civil disobedience on the vaccine or”ders.

I agree on this part, it’s the only way.

As for the regime I don’t think it’s going anywhere, unfortunately.

I suggest looking at news articles a few months before the last election. Remember how business leaders all agreed it would be sunshine and unicorn rainbow farts if Biden is elected.

Produce something by mining/ranching/farming-takes fossil fuels to do

Take it a processing plan takes fuel

Take it from the processing plat to multiple production facilities-takes fuel

Take it to a manufacturer-takes fuel

Take it to a distributor-takes fuel

Take it the customer’s distribution hub-takes fuel

Take it from the distribution hut to your local store-takes fuel

pick it up and bring it home-takes fuel

Every step the supply chain takes fuel. Not solar, not wind power, not water fossil fuel

Artificially inflating that by 75% as the Biden Democrats have done, is hurting the average American at every single step of the way

Here in San Antonio a new burger chain, P Terry’s, starts their flippers at $16 per hour.

I’m guessing they’ll want $8 for a dry single patty burger.

The demonrats have the “Sadim” touch... everything they touch, turns to shit.
(That’s Midas in reverse btw)

I just read a stat from ‘Good Ranchers’ that claims 95% of ‘grass fed’ beef comes from overseas. Of course they are selling their meat too but at least theirs comes from the U.S.

There used to be several vegetarian burgers but I noticed only a couple lately around here. I guess I should look again. Like the bean ones (and oats I think).

Good line from non-tofu fan the fitness and diet celeb Richard Simmons:
“I have gotten the reputation for hating tofu. Everybody thinks I hate tofu.”
“Actually I love it. People bring me tofu all the time and I use it to clean things in every room of the house.”

On vegans:

Why did the vegan cross the road?

To get to the other side to tell you “I am a vegan.”

commodity prices always cycle high and low ...

lumber futures prices are now about 1/3 of what they were just a couple of months ago ...

stocks are a different animal altogether and can continually rise as the business grows ...
