LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky National Guard members are headed to Louisville to help hospitals trying to deal with a surge of COVID-19 patients.
...
"We'll be providing non-clinical logistics and administrative support so that staff can focus more on patient care," said Brig. Gen. Bryan Howay of the Kentucky National Guard. "Our mission is geared toward assisting these hospitals through this current surge."
Between 10-30 guardsmen will be added to each hospital in support.

Is this actually needed - or just a show put on by the governor?

Sounds serious.
A flu bug that requires the NG.
Why don’t they declare the virus an illegal occupier and call in ICE?

Are they going to forcibly vaccinate the “vaccine-hesitant?”

If it is needed its not because of a sudden surge of covid patients. Much like elsewhere, when these specious reports are published its far more likely that the NG is needed because of the medical professionals whom were fired for not getting vaxed.

Cases and surge. Words matter. People are now triggered by fear. The authoritarians are loving this.

They want to infect the NG members so they’ll take it home and infect the rest of the state.

Just checked...
KY still counting orobables in the admitted case counts.
And while ICU utilization is closed to maxed in a number of regions, ventilator usage is not maxed out in any.
Hmmmm....

Idiot Dem state gov and equally idiotic Dem Louisville mayor wrung their hands over Covid but allowed the BLM/Breonna Taylor protests/riots to go on virtually unchecked. Meanwhile crime skyrocketed last yr: 173 homicides last yr and... well, here's where we are right now as of last week (
2021 Homicide Weekly Report 9-5-21) We live just outside of Louisville and we don't think it'll ever recover, and it hurts to see it.

It’s for sure. I live in Kentucky and worked downtown. There is no blossoming of death or anything here it’s just the same old crap that’s been going on since this whole thing started. It’s just that they’re getting desperate and we have a leftist mayor and we have a leftist governor and everybody else is on the right.

A show. It has always been a show. Not a single thing from the unused ships to the thrown away vents were ever needed.

Can we get the hospital ship Comfort up the Ohio River? It did so much in its role of show boat in NYC while Cuomo was busy murdering seniors.
