For me 62 is next year. However, I am in a good job so I am trying for 67. If my company mandates anything, 62 it is.

I just couldn't take it anymore and I could see the vax mandates coming; left as soon as I was eligable along with lot of others I had worked with 30+ years. I hear they're having a rough time back in the lab I worked at.

Well I am fixing to be 58, diagnosed last year with another brain tumor that this time is inoperable but have had radiation treatments which have arrested the growth so its static but still have some minor issues from the radiation and tumor. I work 50+ hours a week in IT (Old in my line of work) and run a truck farm on the side. I will never take the Vaccine for many reasons and so far the Bank I am employed with is not requiring it. House and land is paid for but do have some medical bills and a vehicle payment whish is about half paid for...Thinking if they try and force me to take this Jab and Boosters I would retire. I would prefer to keep working as I have a few projects I would like to get completed like getting Solar installed at the house and 3-4 other projects done before I quit. Any thoughts at retiring at 58?

Yes. You should retire now, setting aside all that other stuff you just mentioned, but because of that there brain tumor. You don’t know how much time you have left, it is precious. Enjoy it now.

Marxism. Put the doers and go-getters at bay. Then you got them all. Pretty smart.

I’m very serious. I’m tired of clowns who make dire predictions when they don’t actually believe what they are writing.

We can put it to the test.

Why don’t we pick a date in the future when you claim that social security will be tied to vaccination. If such a thing has not occurred by that date, then there needs to be a real consequence for you.

If it has, then there should be a consequence for me.

Are you willing to put your money where you mouth is?

Most federal employees have a union contract.

Herr Diktator Biden can issue orders until the cows come home.

AFGE is gonna crush him like a bug. They take their union contract _very_ seriously, and they _own_ the Democratic Party.

Like you, I have NEVER planned on getting SS.
Since the time I was 16, I was told it would be broke before I ever could get it.
I am 58 now. I paid off my mortgage last month.

I would advise everyone to take as much SS as you can as soon as you can before it is gone.

I retired two years ago—same story—paid off mortgage and all other debts before retirement.

Controlling expenses is the key—extra benefit, you are in a lower tax bracket.

Had an acoustic neuroma brain tumor in 2000, had it surgically cut out, did the 5 yr follow up and thought I was good to go but due to a bad MRI read in 2008 the tumor had came back but didn’t discover that little tidbit till 2020. I have always been a hard worker but if they mandate this Vax to work then I will have to respectfully decline taking it...I think I could make a case to opt out but they might well lay me off as well as it seems what these businesses are doing to the folks opting out over Religious reasons.

My wife is disabled (not fake disabled, but really unable to work) that’s the only SS money we will see. we are worried they will require the jab for SSD and Medicare (they dumped her on that now too) she’s not even 40 yet.

I turned 65 in August. I'll have 30 years with my current employer on Dec 9th. My PTO balance is 404 hours today. Premature death from the vaxx is an unwarranted risk just to continue working 50 to 70 hours a week. I like my job and income, but it is pointless if you are dead or disabled. A really stupid value proposition. My "full SS" retirement date is Dec 31, 2022. My principal reason for continuing to work is supporting my wife's healthcare.

I took early retirement and never once regretted it....you can still work part time and easily makeup, and in fact increase your income well beyond anything you would loose.
