Japanese police arrest underwear thief suspected of stealing more than 700 bras and panties from laundromats

Police have arrested Tetsuo Urata on suspicion of stealing 730 pieces of women’s underwear from coin laundries, after a 21-year-old college student alerted authorities that six pairs of her underwear had disappeared. Authorities in the southern Japanese city of Beppu raided 56-year-old Tetsuo Urata’s home in late August and told media they “haven’t confiscated such a large number of panties in years.”

Police seized 730 pieces of female underwear during the search, which followed accusations towards Tetsuo from an unnamed 21-year-old female college student. She told police Tetsuo had pilfered six pairs of her underwear in a laundromat on August 24.

Back when I first got divorced and had to use a laundrymat I’d got to one that had a bar attached so I could have a cold one or two and break up the monotony of watching the dryers spin around.

One night a super hot chick came in to retrieve her clothes from a dryer and made a point of holding up and inspecting every piece of skimpy underwear and bras before folding them up. At that point in my life I had no clue that dental floss was considered underwear material.

A few coins and a pack of FaBreeze could have gotten you to first base then. But when we are young , we do not see the obvious at times. Chicky-poo was looking for a laundry friend who shared her laundry concerns. You could have helped !

Next time help her with her situation and ask her into the bar for a post laundry drink. Laundering that stuff is very stressful!

D’oh! And now 25 years later I add another lost opportunity to the list of my naivety back then.

Among those failures was the time, after a staff meeting at the home office, a good looking gal from a branch office about an hour away gave me her card and told me to call her if I ever needed any help. I said thanks and pocketed the card and that was that.

A week later the office receptionist comes to my desk and says to me, “How come you haven’t called Lisa yet?” ‘Why do I need to call her?’ “Because dummy, when a woman gives your her card with her home phone number it means she want’s you to call her.”

D’oh! I was 36 years old then—naive as a tenderfoot.

It’s better they use a laundromat than hanging them in the bathroom. I had to do some repairs in a friends apartment in the bathroom. I learned she wears crotch less panties without wanting to know.

Japanese culture is bizarre to say the least. They make some of the strangest animation films and cartoon series on the planet. By far the strangest is a thing called "Girl Und Panzer''. You can see it on You Tube. The gist of it is Japanese school girl hotties riding around in authentically rendered WW2 tanks playing war games. Spoiler: Nobody dies.
