Another culprit weighed in deaths of California family found on Sierra National Forest trail

Another possibility is being investigated in a case that one sheriff has called the most mysterious of his career.

Responding agencies treated the scene as a hazmat situation because of uncertainty about the cause of the fatalities, and everything from toxic algae to dangerous mine gasses to murder has been probed. According to a New York Times feature on the family, now lightning strikes have been added into the mix.

A handful of causes of death have been ruled out. Previous autopsy data provided by the Mariposa County Sheriff's Office excluded acute trauma, such as stabbing, gunshot wounds or blunt-force trauma. They also do not believe the family was killed by toxic gas escaping from an abandoned mine shaft.

When lightening strikes nearby it can induce secondary currents, like with a transformer or wireless charger, only a lot more intense. If you huddle under a tree to get out of a storm, the lightening current flows through the tree, but people nearby, but not necessarily in contact with the tree, can have currents induced in their bodies. I know of one instance nearby, where fortunately no one was severely injured.

This from The Rolling Stone???

If there are problems with ivermectin, they need to call THE MATH HELPLINE!!!

” The usual dose is 150 micrograms (mcg) per kilogram (kg) (68 mcg per pound) of body weight as a single dose”

Barbie says “MATH IS TOUGH”

The local drug dealer might help for a small fee?
And with measuring micrograms?
I think it is sold as a solution , still more math...

“Climbing in Idaho”

Talk about high risk! That’s many orders of magnitude higher risk than whatever killed that family and their dog.

And he hates noisy cars

“Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. God Himself is not secure, having given man dominion over His works! Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. The fearful are caught as often as the bold. Faith alone defends. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. To keep our faces toward change and behave like free spirits in the presence of fate is strength undefeatable.”
H. Keller

Driving in a car is the highest risk most people experience.

17 inch long Bigfoot tracks were found less than 1/4 mile from the Gerrish deceased family`s location in July 1964 by a Boy Scout leader and a medic, published in the “Modesto Bee:, July 16, 1964 with photos of the plaster casts of the tracks.

"Why refer to the victims as Luddites?"

They were Luddites if the toxicology report shows Chinese fen in the camelback waterpack as the "lightning strike".

The dude was a cracked limey just like Ned Ludd -- read up on this story. IT ain't hard to find. Like I said, Millenials everywhere have a ridiculous interest in this shit show.

Meet me back here when the toxicology report "strikes".

So about 12 milligrams for a 180 pound adult. That’s a very small dose. No wonder someone who just squirts a mouthful out of a tube can end up in trouble.

Paste in the tube is typically 2%... yes you can purchase a tube good for 1200 pounds...

Some uses call for 400mcg/Kg.

There are several toxicological reports of ivermectin in different species. The lethal dose 50 (LD50) reported in mice [19] is 25 mg/kg administered orally, whose human equivalent dose (HED) is 2.02 mg/kg. The LD50 increases up to 30 mg/kg when this compound is administered intraperitoneally in mice (HED 2.43 mg/kg).
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5835698/#:~:text=There%20are%20several%20toxicological%20reports,HED%202.43%20mg%2Fkg).
Chewy has 250mg tablets...

A month or so back I spotted a half-bald fox in my area, probably mange. Oral ivermectin over dog food is a common solution.
Some mange is limited to foxes, but some are also common to dogs and humans... Saw the fox yesterday, totally bald.
Only 50 yds from our house and dogs???
So far the dogs and family have not been scratching...
Hence my interest in ivermectin.

A series of them at the local arboretum.
Fun stuff, the grandkids loved them!
