Poison control centers are seeing a dramatic surge in calls from people who are self-medicating with ivermectin, an anti-parasite drug for animals that some falsely claim treats COVID-19.
According to the National Poison Data System (NPDS), which collects information from the nation's 55 poison control centers, there was a 245% jump in reported exposure cases from July to August — from 133 to 459.
Meanwhile, emergency rooms across the country are treating more patients who have taken the drug, after being persuaded by false and misleading information spread on the internet, by talk show hosts and by political leaders. Most patients are overdosing on a version of the drug that is formulated to treat parasites in cows and horses.

So, out of 230+ MILLION people, for the whole two month span of July to August, there were only 459 references, from “no issue” to “death,” of the use of “Ivermectin?”

People ARE this STUPID!
And keep in mind they were presumably taking it to fight comic so a certain percentage were sick and unsure if symptoms were covid or from ivermectin.

Could it be that the usual suspects are making calls claiming to have taken the Ivermectin and are having problems? Would they really do such a thing?
So more cases one month to the next but a microscopic number of cases in the population. These folks are potentially darwin award winners. The media is not helping matters by dismissing Ivermectin as just a live stock deworming drug. They should be educating the public on why an animal dose isn’t fit for a human. As for its efficacy, I haven’t looked at any data. We know remdesivir showed modest potential, monoclonal antibodies perhaps the most effective so far. It’s amazing to me it’s feeling in the media like we’re back where we started and also being told everything is a-ok.

More than 36,000 people died from overdoses involving synthetic opioids in 2019.
They KILLED Hydroxychloroquine. So how much easier will it be to kill Ivermectin. (with our help).

Isn’t it curious that one of the safest drugs ever to be used by humans is suddenly a deadly poison? How could this be? Who profits from such a lie? I am deeply puzzled.
