Kabul airport was shut down since Aug. 31, when the massive U.S.-led airlift ended, and the last troops withdrew after 20 years of war.
Qatar’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani said on Thursday that the Gulf state was working with Turkey and talking to the Taliban to provide potential technical support to get the airport back in operation, Reuters reported.

Exhibit A: The elephant in the room during Biden’s July 23rd call with the President of Afghanistan was Pakistan. The Afghan President stated clearly to Biden that (1) they were in the midst of a full scale invasion that (2) had massive direct aid and support from Pakistan and included 10-5,000 foreign terrorists, mostly from Pakistan. (3) That elephant was 100% ignored by Biden, as if the Afghan President had never said what he said about Pakistan. (4) The entire media has essentially ignored that elephant also. Obviously, the report about Pakistan was not news to the “powers that be” in Washington, but Washington told everyone to ignore it.
Exhibit B: Where is the largest U.S. military base in the Middle East and the home of forward bases of CENTCOM (DOD primacy Middle East Command). The answer is Qatar.

I think they are in direct competition with Obama for that award.
I am coming to the conclusion that in Foreign Policy they are tools, as much as they might be fools, and 90% of the time they are “following orders” and know 100 times less than the deep staters ever tell them.
We will never have a 100% American foreign policy again until we can clean out the DOS & DOD built since before GWBush through Obama and can scrap the present CIA and start over.
