SOUTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA, Okla. (KFOR) – A rural Oklahoma doctor said patients who are taking the horse de-wormer medication, ivermectin, to fight COVID-19 are causing emergency room and ambulance back ups.
“There’s a reason you have to have a doctor to get a prescription for this stuff, because it can be dangerous,” said Dr. Jason McElyea.
Dr. McElyea said patients are packing his eastern and southeastern Oklahoma hospitals after taking ivermectin doses meant for a full-sized horse, because they believed false claims the horse de-wormer could fight COVID-19.
“The ERs are so backed up that gunshot victims were having hard times getting to facilities where they can get definitive care and be treated,” he said.

> Ivermectin for animals is flying off the shelves and livestock ranchers are having trouble finding enough to treat their animals.
This is entirely the criminal fault of the med establishment.
And I doubt you’ll make the case that the animals should be prioritized over people.
And it’s a contrived issue, because the stuff is readily available via the pharms supply “chain.”
Dr. Speights is full of it.
The paste for horses is not “manufactured for large horses” or any size horse. It is all the same strength and dosage is by weight per lb.
The paste comes in a syringe and has an adjustable collar on the plunger. The collar is adjusted for the weight of the horse. Big horses get the same paste as small horses just more of it.
Humans use the same dose per lb. as horses so the collar would be adjusted to the corresponding weight of the human.
‘Believe false calims’ these filthy lying servants of the evil oligarchy always out themselves with a slip of the ego like that one. The claims, just so folks know, are not false, Ivermecvtin does fight the covid by reducing the viral load so the human immune system can cure it. These ‘journo bitches are less than whores on a scale of dead souls.
It is all propaganda. There are no ill effects from using the “horse paste” if the dosage is correct.
This is entirely the criminal fault of the med establishment.
Actually it's complete BS propaganda from our loving media overlords. I've read at least five posts from FReeper ranchers in the last two days, including one on this thread who lives in Oklahoma, that there is no shortage in their farm and ranch stores at all.
I'll believe them before I believe a simultaneous onslaught of articles from the media.
You can buy it online all day and all night long.
If I had an ivermictin OD, I’d go to a veterinarian.
Just get somebody to put your halter on and walk you around the corral until you feel better. :)
Stay away from any product that has extra ingredients, like the one in the picture.
I realize you just posted it to show the calibrations.
Well lets face it, we have enough people showing their ignorance and stupidity by voting for sleepy Joe and Camel Harris it would be asking an awful lot; being that stupid on one hand and all of a sudden wise up about the right dosage on something what might be beneficial for them when taken properly. Not to mention that all those ER call could be avoided, as all it would take is for medical profession come to grips that Ivermectin can serve a useful purpose and start writing prescriptions.
Yes, and so I eliminated that image and reposted. I had a hard time finding a good image on the internet and finally resized one that was Ivermectin only and then posted it. Guess I COULD have just taken a photo of some of the wormer I have on hand for my own horses - who weigh 850 lbs and so THEY never get a full syringe!
Excllent! Distributed by the same ones who market Med-Pharmax.
Has anyone used the AFLDS site to order Ivermectin? A way back when, some said the site seemed so jammed they couldn’t make it work. Has anyone been successful? I can’t seem to get Ivermectin anywhere. So, thought I would fill out the form, pay the $90.00 consulting fee and see if I can get it mailed from the pharmacy.
As Sherman potter use to say..
It’s horse hucky!
It’s horsechit.
First, there aren’t multiple hospitals in Sallisaw as one version of this suggested (I did not read this article just saw the same persons involved), Oklahoma. There is hardly one. The doc works at several regional hospital emergency rooms, probably the largest of which is McAlester; maybe they shoot a lot of people down there, I don’t know about that.
Second, gunshot wounds, hardly any around here. If there were I would know about it nearly first hand. People do get frisky but usually drunk or high and just run off the road. The other popular means of mayhem is to burn the house.
The doc graduated in 2009 so what generation does that put him in? Not that it matters I guess. I think though he maybe should have majored in drama or writing fiction.
Third, it appears hard to OD on Ivermectin but it is possible I’m sure. Instead of 1.5 cc of 1% per 3 weeks one person, in her 80s, took it once a day! So far so good. Some math is required to get the dosing right and that may be the problem. Math and science are not a core skills in this area especially if it involves them feren units like millimeters and micrograms and stuff or if you have to count higher than 10 with your shoes on.
