Anyone else notice the grocery store shelves are getting emptied out again and not being restocked?

Oh, God.

Please. Not toilet paper supply issues.

Bill Whittle said, in a humorous approach to Covid back in June 2020 said:

SON: Gee, Dad, what did you do during The Great Covid Pandemic of 2020?

FATHER: Well, son, I was the tail gunner on a Charmin delivery truck...

There is something I found so nationally embarrassing about people complaining about lack of toilet paper at that time. But that is perhaps just me.

By the way, I was roundly criticized by at least on FReeper for posting that dialogue from Bill Whittle. He said I was making light of a serious situation.

Employee shortage, truck driver shortage.

Not enough people want to work.

><

That’s a big part of it. Our local Kroeger/City Market is short 30 people. Clerks are working days and coming back to stock at night.

You may not notice it. My wife works for a large grocery chain. They have a lot of people going through store placing units strategically so the shelves appear full. The practice is called "fronting".

Everything is fine here in KC. In fact, the price of hamburger went down 1.00 per pound this week at my local grocery store. It’s usually 1.99 in the 10lb roll - rose to 3.99 for awhile and now it’s 2.99. Also, 10lb pack of chicken legs for .49 per lb.

One of my kids works for a wholesale food distributor. The company - and the companies they do business with - are facing critical labor shortages. People (younger Americans) simply do not want to work. They can’t fill warehouse, inventory, or delivery jobs. And they are using the coof as an excuse.

As a direct result orders are being delayed, scheduled deliveries are stacking up or being missed. Often the deliverymen are arriving at the stores only to find the doors shuttered because there was no one on duty to receive the delivery. Same with inbound deliveries. Massive and all~too~common interruptions to deliveries are being experienced.

A huge, extremely complex, and utterly critical ecosystem supporting the food market has been compromised by the architects of the Plandemic.

And it is only going to get worse.

Not to mention freight trains backed up all throughout the south west US.

My Kellogg’s Raisin Bran from Sam’s Club (a 2-bag, big box) hasn’t been available for over eight weeks. It’s not available in any of the three Sam’s Clubs near me.

Certain previously-available varieties of gourmet popcorn at a local candy boutique haven’t been available for many weeks, they say because of the shortage of a key chemical ingredient.

I’ve noticed it including some products I don’t recall as a problem in 2020.

I work in Logistics.

The big lie out of DC is the real inflation rate

When we have to pay 30% more to ship goods that effects the economy across the board.

People are going to start feeling this the longer Biden is in office. Wage increase are not going to keep pace with inflation. Every day the Democrats stay in power the average American gets poorer

It doesn’t take much to start a panic....In my town, during the pandemic, the main grocery store locked up their toilet paper and paper towels...You had to stand in line to get a 4 pack of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels... After that, the customers started buying everything in sight....

There’s a young guy I work with - a CNA (Certified Nurses Assistant) who is in school to get the specialized license to drive trucks. He’ll make TONS of money doing this as a career and he knows it. Smart youngin’.

Suppliers are deliberately creating shortages to drive up prices. Their media shills are giving dire warnings to create panic buying that creates shortages that further drive up prices. China and Amazon are the chief culprits behind this. Their message is clear, however. They want to leave the impression, “We are in control.”

And it not wages. Base pay for the wharehouse staff where I work is $15.00 and hour plus the option for up to 10-20 hours of OT a week. For my area of the SE US that is a very good wage. Job includes high end health care plan, 401k, dental, life insurace etc as well as annual bonuses

Still cannot get enough workers

There are no shortages in any of the markets I frequent.

Only abundance. And high prices.

Everyone I know (not many) says the same thing.

I believe nefarious goals are the objective of those who create and post videos of shortages/empty shelves. They want to create frenzy where there is none.

Commies are pushing for food panic buying.

Why?

Starvation is commie tactic. People become compliant when they have to stand in line to get food.

Anyone notice EBT had it's highest rate increase in this history of the program? Way past an inflation increase:

Total lie

Not a single fact to your demented tirade. I actually WORK in this field. There is not a single supplier in the US “holding back supply”

That a moron Leftist dogma that has not a shred of a hint of a notion of a clue of being in the same galazy with truth.
