My congressman is General Scott Perry. He is a Trump supporter. He is a member of the Freedom Caucus. He is perhaps the most conservative member from the PA congressional delegation. Sounds pretty good, right? It would seem that I should be rather pleased to have him as my congressman.
But I am not.
He has been AWOL throughout the Afghanistan surrender. I have written him. (And get the standard form letter reply.) I have called his office. Each day I search the www machine for news that Perry is making a stand. Just once last week there was a tacit article written about him and Afghanistan. He has written no op-eds to newspapers. He has no press releases. His website finally featured Facebook posts on Afghanistan for the first time yesterday, which I cannot read because I do not have and will not get a Facebook account. I have addressed the Facebook issue with his office in the past, essentially saying, "true conservatives do not use Facebook and it is siding with the enemy."
Despite, his very late Facebook posts, Perry has been AWOL the last several weeks. My conclusion is Perry has no fight in him. He has no instinct. He has no conviction. He is weak.
Am I being too critical?
Is your congressman AWOL too?
I wish I had someone like that.
I get people like Markey, Warren, McGovern, and Pressley.
Before that, Kerry, Kennedy, Studds, Frank...been like that my whole life.

There is a guy, Barry Allen, who is supposedly running against Perry in the primary. He has two YouTube videos. The first on “Is the media biased?” and his most recently one slamming Perry for voting ‘No’ on the Asian-American Hate Crime Bill. The guy must be some kind of establishment or Democrat plant. If those are the only two issues he feels so strongly about and the only ones he has on his website, then this guy is more feckless than Perry.
Mine’s a screaming libtard. He had an ad on TV the other day. I have no idea why.
My Congressman, Dr John Joyce, a former colleague and friend, has been equally worthless through the steal and it’s entire aftermath. He has had his last contribution from me. Worthless, quiet little church mouse.
My Congressman is not awol, he has been deceased since elected.

This whole Afghanistan thing has been wrong since April. Perry has been AWOL.
Elected officials are supposed to represent the voters. The democrats are certainly going above and beyond representing the America hating democrats. Conservative voters are bursting at the seams, wanting their elected officials to rise up and rein in the democrats. Almost complete silence.

Looking at his Twitter site, he sounds pretty good. Whether he is or not, I can’t tell.
