Thanks for the ping.
I’m hoping the local news, (which BTW all 3 locals have this story as front page news this morning), will keep us updated on this Mans outcome.
Everyone should have Power of Attorney Medical Appointee.....A living Will is not enough.
Good point. Better get him out of that hospital ASAP and have him under 24/7 supervision till you do.
Yes. The studies put out there in the attempt to ‘debunk’ these potential treatments are junk science. They give them to the sickest of the sick and then say “see, it doesn’t work”. Or, they give them alone without the other medicines and supplements that complement and enhance its efficacy and improve outcomes.
It is axiomatic that the sooner you treat an ailment the greater likelihood of a positive outcome. The refusal to do anything but “watch and wait” for people to get sicker and sicker is, well, a different kind of sickness.
Seriously, what a utterly childish response from the FDA. This is more than misinformation, this is intentional DISinformation. Yes, there is an application of ivermectin in use by veterinarians, however, ivermectin was developed in 1970 by a Japanese bio-chemist as an anti-parasitic treatment for humans (for which he won the Nobel Prize). The overwhelming data shows that ivermectin is a safe and highly effective treatment for COVID if caught in the early stages.
The rub is this, the CDC's own regulations in issuing emergency use authorizations requires that NO EFFECTIVE AND SAFE TREATMENT be readily available. Thus the assault of Big Pharma, Big Guvment, Big Media and Big Tech upon, not just ivermectin, but ANY AND ALL early treatments. They must clear the field so they can promote their "vaccine" as the "only" solution. . .this evil ruse has been at the cost of hundreds of thousands of lives that could have been effectively treated. It only serves the $$$ interests of the aforementioned "vaccine" cabal.
From what I’ve read.....doctors are NOW under the control/owned by the BigPharma owned hospital system that they work for (or, their practice is affiliated with).
Thanks, 0bowmaoCare.
Not!
Glad that this decision stands up for actual doctor/patient relationships, over owned hospital system’s commands/directives/BigPharam policies.
Maybe not, but you are most certainly an ass. (probably a donk on the political spectrum as well)
Judge rules in favor of individual fighting FDA mandate.
You’re aware that FReeper, terart, was denied therapeutics because of FDA mandates — you know about her story? She’s dead.
This ruling is far from the canonical slippery slope.
Medical corollary to "There's no bad situation you can't make worse by calling a cop"
Small studies were done with up to 84mg and in one case of last ditch effort for those on a ventilator, 168mg. Most were in the 24-48mg range.
Three weeks does seem excessive. Most common treatment course length I've seen is five days.
Chart below is for preventative. Double or even triple the numbers for treatment. 30mg would be fine for the average sized man.
Author of this article is an IDIOT!
IVERMECTIN has been prescribed to humans for decades.
Same thing happened up in Buffalo, NY area. Save a woman’s life.
At some point a Doctor here (who was probably overworked and exasperated that day) posted a rant about hospital adminstration. I dont remember how long ago or how much of a rant. It could have been just a sentence or two in the post
But basically the hospital didnt want to allow a certain drug ( I think ivermectin) and he was warning about hospitals preventing the drug
The point to my post (which is not clear on details) is that sometimes the Hospital not the Doctor rules on what you can get.
More:
“ Julie Smith sued on behalf of her husband, Jeffrey, 51, who has been in the intensive care unit at West Chester Hospital since July 15. He was intubated and put on a ventilator on August 1. Julie Smith is acting as Jeffrey Smith’s guardian.
According to the lawsuit, Julie Smith investigated alternative treatments for COVID-19 and asked the hospital to give her husband Ivermectin. It refused.
Jeffrey Smith is on “death’s doorstep”, according to the lawsuit. Julie Smith asked Dr. Fred Wagshul about Ivermectin and he prescribed 30 mg of Ivermectin a day for 21 days for Jeffrey. Julie also offered to sign a release relieving the hospital of all liability.
The hospital refused and that’s when Julie sued.
On August 23, the judge ordered the hospital to administer Ivermecting to Jeffrey.
Dr. Wagshul is a member of the Frontline COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance has been advocating the use of Ivermectin as a COVID treatment.”
Here is the lawsuit on SCRIBD

FDA is trying to position ivermectin as an animal drug. It has been approved for human use for decades.
Seems right now we have Washington DC and/or unelected bureaucrats telling docs how to practice medicine.
At least a County Judge is elected...

No. Here we have a judge ordering a hospital to follow a doctor’s treatment plan for his patient.

Excellent clarification!
If the physician was in agreement with administering Ivermectin, than I have no problem with that. However, a judge forcing a physician to administer a drug is wrong.
