The entire Washoe County school board needs to resign. Polls of 87% opposed to bigoted race and anti-American content and yet they voted by same margin to approve it. To study, so they say. They are out-of-step with the community.

Educators are the absolutely worst person to have on a school board. I have never seen an educator on a school board that didn’t want higher taxes and more spending to fix a problem that often is not fixable with more funding.

Well, you know what the people can do dont ya?
I dealt with these cry bully despotic whiners for far too long. Didn’t win them all by a long shot, but I won enough battles with them that I know they were damn glad to see my kid graduate and leave town. Tell you something else, it seemed like I was the only parent that would stand up to them. It was lonely.
With a very few exceptions this crap that they want to work with parents or care what parents want for their own children is just that - a steaming pantload.
If it was that bad in 2000 when I no longer had to deal with them, it has got to be 10 times worse now.
They are NOT public schools. They are government schools teaching your children to be compliant members of the collective.
