For the first time, a child who had no other health issues has died from COVID-19 at a Houston hospital, the city health department reported Thursday.
There have been six other pediatric deaths in Houston, but all of those children had underlying health conditions.
“Serious chronic medical problems, the things they’ve unfortunately been going to medical doctors regularly for most of their life. That’s what most of those have been," Chief Medical Officer for the City of Houston Dr. David Persse said.
The Houston Health Department said the boy who died in July was between the ages of 10 and 19 and had not been vaccinated. They say he tested positive for COVID-19, but they don't know yet if it was a variant of the virus, like delta.
They aren't releasing other details because of privacy laws.
“This tragedy serves as a reminder that children, even without underlying health conditions, can get seriously ill and die from COVID-19," Persse said. “Getting vaccinated is not only about protecting you, it’s about protecting everyone close to you, especially your family, from serious illness and death.”

We don’t even know if any of this is true. We do know liberal news media feel no compunction about lying for what they consider a noble cause.

Then don’t report it if we can’t confirm it via names, etc. The parents, at least.

Well, it looks like they found at least one child fatality.
I won’t go any further, because I don’t wish to trivialize this child’s death. The people pushing us apparently don’t have any such hesitation.
Wonder how easy it would be for a hospital to claim a covid death when the actual reason was medical malpractice

Yeah, right. In all probability, the kid was in an auto accident or drowned in the neighbor’s swimming pool.
IF it’s not an outright lie, they have exactly one case like this. So we are supposed to set policy based on one single case now? And they say the kid had no underlying conditions. It’s just as likely there is one but they didn’t figure it out.

And no details of the treatment protocol either?
How did they test? The ever unreliable PCR? They probably killed the poor child when they shoved the swab up its nose and into its brain.

Children die with flu occasionally too. And pneumonia. And URI.
If a child dies from a bee sting or lightning strike, does the government issue warnings about the perils of going outside? I know, in time they will!
