Increasing urban diversity in Southern states is complicating Republican efforts to keep the reins of statehouse power and chip away at Democratic control of Congress.
Of the 65 counties that turned majority minority since 2010, meaning more than half the population is made up of people of color, over two-thirds are in the South, a Stateline analysis of new census data shows. Thirty-five of those counties voted Republican in the 2020 presidential election, down from 39 in 2012.
The four that flipped are Tarrant County, Texas (which includes Fort Worth); Duval County, Florida (which includes Jacksonville); and two counties in the Atlanta suburbs that were key to Democratic victories last year, Henry and Cobb.

It’s an airbnb, so I basically take all comers. I can set to pre-screen and maybe weed them out that way manually, but that would drive away a lot of business from others who just want to book immediately. I thought about writing in the listing description that it used to be a cow slaughterhouse.
The Indian American vote is by no means set in stone. I know some Indian Americans who did not vote for Trump in 2016 but about a year into his term turned around. One Indian woman voted for Bush but could not bring herself to vote for Trump even though she said she supported his policies. I asked why. She said she didn’t like his “personality” and his “attitude toward women”. Oh brother. But I suspect the fake Indian (Joe’s Hoe) on the ticket was also a reason she voted Biden.

Blacks and Hispanics will have something to say about employment problems
This should work
What isn’t being said is that Hispanics are not a monolithic voting bloc. Over time they vote with their wallets and expect promises to be kept. They are not even unified about illegal immigration.
Yes, they initially tend to vote left, until they get burned.
No, it's not diversity that's the problem, it's people who think they can get something for nothing voting in lock-step with Democrats.
White leftist urbanites are responsible for turning some of these counties to the dark side (and the Demonrat voter fraud that goes with it). Conversely, Hispanics were turning more to the GOP in 2020.
Republicans can’t stay...keep power..they’re too stupid.
Bush Plan for North Mexico
Implemented since 1989
They do sign the elders for Social Security, the office near me is full of them every day.
Never paid a dime in.
There are in fact minority-majority districts that vote Republican - so it is culture, not race and ethnicity. A culture of ignorance is the problem - not race. Woke whites are what are the growing problem.
Those two way more often than not are the same thing
I agree as it is obvious every minority has special status on Govt. contracts.
I’m sure there is some of that, but for the most part, I don’t believe that to be true. I’ve talked to many over the last 4 to 8 years. Many have approached me and asked who I support and when I have responded with Trump/republican, most are surprised. Often, the first thing they say is, Isn’t Trump/republicans racist? Some are more subtle. I find they are willing to listen and try to understand, but with language barriers and brainwashing, I’m certain I’ve flipped not one. I can understand Central Americans voting Democrat, but Indians are a perfect constituency that should be voting conservative. Most all think Trump is a racist and it really bothers me.
I’m sure that hurts
You mischaracterized me. I haven’t been young for many years and I have never liked Jonah Goldberg for any reason

Regarding Tarrant County, I posted a couple months back: “A little CodeMonkeyZ Deep Dive”

The little deep dive merely scratched the surface.
Heidar Garcia is the Elections Administrator for Tarrant County. He’s a Venezuelan who worked 12 years for Smartmatic.
Let that sink in.
Armed with this bit of knowledge, ask yourself WHY Tarrant County “flipped.”
Connect these facts.
What was one of the first things Obama did in the White House in early 2009?
Ans. He put Rahm Emmanuel in charge of the Census.
Rd later.
“Multi-ethnic societies rarely survive in the long run.”
Can you give me an example? Roman civilization lasted about 1,000 years.
The Roman Catholic Church has functioned for more than 2,000.
Some own their own businesses, others just take US jobs and send money back to India before being rotated back there.
But agreed on the voting patterns — they come from a caste-based society and have no conception whatsoever of “All Men Are Created Equal” or of limited government or a Republic as opposed to a Democracy.
