"Half of students in a California classroom tested positive for COVID-19 after a teacher came into school while infected with the Indian 'Delta' variant, a new Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) report finds."

"Within one week, 12 of the 24 pupils in the class were confirmed to be infected with the virus - seven of whom sat in the front two rows."

"The positive results came despite the desks being placed six feet apart and the children wearing masks while indoors."

"What's more, all classrooms were equipped with portable high-efficiency particulate (HEPA) air filters, and doors and windows were left open."

Nobody can seriously believe that masks and 6 feet of distance inside closed spaces will prevent the spread of Covid. Especially this Delta variant.

That is true. So why are schools requiring kids to wear masks? Why is Home Depot requiring customers to put on masks?

Flimsy cloth masks don't stop aerosol viruses. Everybody should know that. The CDC certainly does, since they tell people those masks are not effective protection against dangerous airborne viruses.

If kids had “ zero natural immunity” they’d have gotten seriously sick or worse. As it was their natural immune systems reduced this virus to a mild equivalent of a cold. That is the best outcome to defeating a novel virus.

Now they won’t catch this particular coronavirus again, or it will be mild if they do.

Some of the infected adults cited in the study were vaxxed.

The teachers symptoms were a stuffy nose a feeling tired.

Right - but then:

The teacher continued working during May 17–21, subsequently experiencing cough, subjective fever, and headache."

I see and hear idiots in grocery stores coughing in public without covering up these days.

The medical advances have prevented the thinning-out of the herd of mouth-breathers.

The schools should hold Wuhan flu parties to help reach herd immunity, because the ‘vaccines’ aren’t going to do the job.

But those kids will still need to be vaccinated. Right?

The backstory is that she thought that her stuffy nose was just a seasonal allergy. No indication on her age, but one might imagine that she is quite young as her symptoms were so mild.

Oh, and the school was pre-K through grade 8, so the lowest-risk population possible.

Of the 12 kids who contracted the ‘rona, half were asymptomatic. Only the test result revealed the infection. The interesting bit is the dog that isn’t barking though. There is no indication that any of the kids or the teacher had anything worse than a case of the sniffles. If there had been any serious illness, you can bet that would have been highlighted.

So, readily transmissible, but very mild illness in this age cohort.

Oh, and masks and distancing and the air filter and all of that other nonsense had no effect.

Why in the world is anyone supporting forcing kids into masks at this point?

They are infected.
1) the tests are not reliable.
2) what symptoms if any do the kids have? Probably none
3) CDC Covid-19 Survival Rates as of 10/2020
Age 0-19 — 99.997%
Age 20-49 — 99.98%
Age 50-69 — 99.5%
Age 70+ — 94.6%

80%+ of the deaths are people 65 and older.
About 12% 55-64

“Sorry science is hard for illiterates”

It is true that I have not had a graduate-level course in molecular genetics for a very long time. However, a person really doesn’t have to be a genius to understand the CDC when they say that they are unable to distinguish between ‘rona and flu.

Nor does a person need a PhD in head-shrinking to see when a mediocre intellect is trying to substitute abuse for rational argument.

“RNA is like DNA it is a billion or more to one that the RNA matches a random sample other than the teachers strain.”

You really don’t understand RNA viruses. Stare blankly at this for a few hours and see if anything occurs to you:

So? I see no reason for panicking. Use common sense in who they are allowed to have contact with and keep them home for a week. Basically whatever you would do for a flu outbreak at school.

She had the symptoms of a cold. Most people go to work when they have a cold. Don’t snot everywhere and avoid close contact with others.

I have a hunch that many of the children already had COVID but it was not discovered until the teacher’s dx spurred testing. It is unlikely that students who were not in close contact with her (back of the room no direct exposure) would catch it from her.

because masks do nothing to prevent the spread of covid.

One of the most important sentences in the report:

“No persons infected in this outbreak were hospitalized.”

except the cdc did not say it can’t distinguish between covid and the flu. repeating a lie over and over does not make it true

Nothing wrong with natural immunity. Hopefully all the children had no complications.

Read the report they did RNA sequencing to the positive samples proving that the teacher who also has the same RNA sequence was the source. RNA is like DNA it is a billion or more to one that the RNA matches a random sample other than the teachers strain. Sorry science is hard for illiterates fortunately the policy makers don’t listen to illiterates they relay on PHD level or above for policy so the average idiot has no say. Flat out it not up too your types and never will be.
