Forcing kids to wear masks is a waste of time, as the parents of all of these children have learned.
Coming to school with symptoms of a contagious disease is grounds for termination.
I have a hunch this is all a great big lie. The teacher probably had allergy symptoms from the smoke in the air or possibly a seasonal cold. The children caught colds from one another, if serious probably RSV. This is all about the Newsom recall, and covering the cheat.

That's bullshit right there. The CDC has stated that vaccines cannot prevent protection against Delta variant.

Wait. Were the kids masked? Fully masked? And were any of them shot? Butt, butt, butt masks. And vaxxes? I hope they all recover.

This teacher reported attending social events during May 13–16 but did not report any known COVID-19 exposures and attributed symptoms to allergies. The teacher continued working during May 17–21, subsequently experiencing cough, subjective fever, and headache."
The report also says:
"The school required teachers and students to mask while indoors; interviews with parents of infected students suggested that students’ adherence to masking and distancing guidelines in line with CDC recommendations (3) was high in class. However, the teacher was reportedly unmasked on occasions when reading aloud in class."
So even limited unmasked occasions, with the kids fully masked, is enough to spread COVID-19. Other CDC research indicates that even vaccinated people can be infected with COVID-19 and spread the virus without even having symptoms.
Masking the kids did nothing in this case to stop the spread of COVID-19, just as expected from the science of aerosol virus dispersion.
If this is big news, it must be extraordinary. Normally the kids are infected by masked and vaxxed, goon teacher union instructors.
If they weren’t tested until after the teacher was diagnosed, we don’t really know if they were positive or not previously.
