I have a hunch this is all a great big lie. The teacher probably had allergy symptoms from the smoke in the air or possibly a seasonal cold. The children caught colds from one another, if serious probably RSV. This is all about the Newsom recall, and covering the cheat.

The lack of scientific understanding on this board is appalling. It’s little wonder the rest of the world views Americans as the lowest IQ bunch of the Western world. Read the actual report use your college level reading comprehension skills and see that this irresponsible teacher super spreaders it to the children who had ZERO natural immunity as no human on earth before exposure to a novel virus has natural immunity. Most will recover and carry naturally acquired immunity at that point but they will be infectious for at least ten days once they start to produce active virus. Science is science dumbsh1t politics has no place in it. Delta is highly contagious no legitimate scientist will argue against that.
The backstory is that she thought that her stuffy nose was just a seasonal allergy. No indication on her age, but one might imagine that she is quite young as her symptoms were so mild.
Oh, and the school was pre-K through grade 8, so the lowest-risk population possible.
Of the 12 kids who contracted the ‘rona, half were asymptomatic. Only the test result revealed the infection. The interesting bit is the dog that isn’t barking though. There is no indication that any of the kids or the teacher had anything worse than a case of the sniffles. If there had been any serious illness, you can bet that would have been highlighted.
So, readily transmissible, but very mild illness in this age cohort.
Oh, and masks and distancing and the air filter and all of that other nonsense had no effect.
Why in the world is anyone supporting forcing kids into masks at this point?
