...by 2014, it had sunk 18in and was leaning 14in to the west. The high-rise had initially opened to fanfare, with all 419 units quickly selling out and had high-profile residents such as the former San Francisco 49ers player Joe Montana, and the Giants outfielder Hunter Pence.

Shortly after work began, however, the sinking and tilting accelerated; the building now has a tilt of 22 inches,

Reminds me of the word answer Muhammad Ali gave in answer to a question about what would happen if he ever fought Wilt Chamberlain.......”TIMMMBERR”

I wouldn’t spend a night in that leaning tower of liberals.

My Nephews in-laws are in that Building. His Father in-law is on the Owners HOA Board last I heard helping with the Law Suits against the developer.

Ironic and symbolic. Just like Ca. No matter how much money you throw at it, it is still sinking...

Are people still living in this building? I’m getting visions of the Florida condo . . .

I don’t know how they sleep at night. What would it do in a strong quake?

Well, add this to the mix. When landfill in an oceanfront experiences an earthquake, it often liquefies. The best you could say is the end would probably be mercifully quick.

If I had a condo in that building, I get the heck out even if I had to take a loss. And from the publicly disclosed owners, they can probably afford to do that.

To answer your question, I could not sleep at night. Running through my mind is that a prominent Denver lawyer was on the phone with his wife in their Florida condo, when it collapsed. That is something I most definitely do not want to experience.

I’ve been trying to sell them an eight-inch brass clinometer off a WWII destroyer. $800. So far, no takers.

You’d think their lawyers would want to show increasing tilt!

I’ll bet Nanny P put 3X the required amount to fix in the “stimulus” bill. So we’ll be paying the freight and she’ll skim the rest for vodka and ice cream.

For this application, a rock on a string suspended from the ceiling above an encircled “X” would suffice.

And you could have a red-line circle noting ‘time to go’.

Just like this one, only different.

“Just like this one, only different.”

Let me guess that sign’s location: Between Rawlins and Casper right?

I had a mountain bike in a roof carrier on a road trip. The bike was vertical when i left Casper and almost horizontal when i stopped for gas in Rawlins.

The wife was in Florida. She said the building was shaking, then said the swimming pool collapsed and then the line went dead.

I would just hate that to be my last contact with my wife.
