This lady is basically the equivalent of a governor here in the US. She’s the Premier of Queensland which is largely a left-wing state. Not all Australians support this. In fact, there are significant differences between the states in terms of reaction to coronavirus. Think of the division in this country and the actions of Cuomo and Newsom vs. that of DeSantis.

We know that about the Delta variant, but that won’t stop the government from lying about it and when people start dropping dead from ADE because of their vaxxes, it will be blamed on an extra virulent virus that doesn’t really exist, but makes a great scapegoat.

Seems Aussie political 'elites' don't fear the people - not even a little
Most women shouldn’t be in politics. Too emotional or no emotions at all. Makes them bad leaders as politicians. It seems a lot of women in leadership roles these days really don’t like people and men in particular.

Karen is the lady in the neighborhood association who walks around taking photos of weeds in yards so she can harass the homeowners to “keep our neighborhood beautiful”.
She is the busybody who wants to tell everyone how to live their lives.
When she gets into politics she turns into a raving fascist.
It is not so much that she hates others—it is that she loves herself so much that she believes she has the Divine Right to Rule.
In the good old days the Karens were carted off to the insane asylums by the men in white coats where they tormented the insane asylum employees until they were drugged into silence or put in cells wrapped in straight-jackets.
So much for “never again”.
And most men should likewise not be in politics.

I didn’t read a single reply on that tweet that was negative against the camp. Not a single reply.
I used to think our military and police officers would generally shun this Australian-type oppression — coming from the people as they are — but witnessing how Australia has descended into a fascist thugocracy should frighten anyone in a free country.

I actually agree with you on that. Politics has become nothing but a way to make lots of money and to “rule” the masses.
